Ten Years Since the Mighty Teshuvah Gathering—With Thousands of the People of
Israel at Winter Stadium, Led by the Holy Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Ten years since the massive Teshuvah gathering at Winter Stadium, when our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, instructed that the massive gathering be held under the banner "There are no wicked people among the People of Israel" - Full coverage of the massive Teshuvah gathering in Ramat Gan:
That same statement caused countless Jews at the Yad Eliyahu Stadium to ignite the Jewish spark hidden within their souls and return in teshuvah (repentance). In the words that our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, delivered before the gathering, he said: "And this is the goal of the gathering: to bring back all of the People of Israel and the entire world, both Jews and non-Jews, to bring everyone back to their Father in Heaven. In the image of Hashem He created man; every person has a spark from Hashem, both the Jew and the non-Jew possess the Divine spark. And the entire purpose of the gathering is to bring the light of Hashem and the light of our holy Rebbe to the entire world, Jews and non-Jews alike."
The gathering began toward the evening hours of Thursday night—the eve of the 9th of Tammuz, 5772, exactly a decade ago—when the stadium was filled with thousands of Jews from all walks of life and backgrounds: Haredim and secular, those wearing knitted yarmulkes alongside Neturei Karta—a true ingathering of the exiles that only such a Teshuvah gathering could unite.
Our teacher, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, entered to the singing of "May You add days to the days of the King..." and began singing "My soul yearns and also pines..." Afterward, he began a lesson lasting over fifty minutes, in which he cried out about the mercy that exists within every Jew: "We must stop the terrible massacre in Syria," said our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a at the time. He continued to speak about the good point that exists in every Jew, and that every Jew truly wants to return in teshuvah, and that there is no such thing as secular people among the People of Israel!

After the lesson, our teacher began the melody of "The desert and the parched land shall be glad, and the wilderness shall rejoice and blossom..." and then, afterward, he delivered another lesson, and once again began singing "The desert and the parched land..." each time with increasing vitality.
After the singing, our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, began reciting the famous Tikkun HaKlali with that melody that accompanied our people through all the difficult years of exile that followed, and at all the mass gatherings in Hebron and throughout the country, slowly, with the melody and tune, "as if King David, peace be upon him, had said them..."

At the conclusion of the singing, he began the order of connection before prayer and the singing of "Save Your people..." After four minutes of singing, he began delivering another lesson, thanking everyone who helped and assisted with the gathering, and again began singing "The desert and the parched land..." Afterward, he began the Maariv prayer with melodies full of vitality and burning fire.
At the end of the prayer, after reciting the four chapters of Psalms that our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, was accustomed to saying after prayer, he delivered another lesson in which he called on everyone to strengthen themselves and disconnect from all forbidden devices; through this, everyone will merit to return in teshuvah and we will merit the complete Geulah (Redemption) speedily in our days, amen. After two hours and twenty-five minutes, our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, departed from the Teshuvah gathering to the singing of "In you, our Rebbe, we shall rejoice..." and set out toward the City of the Patriarchs, Hebron, where he recited the Tikkun HaKlali together with our people who were privileged to be there.
