The Eulogy of Rabbi Meir Malka shlit"a for Rabbi Moshe Tzanani zt"l

The Eulogy of Rabbi Meir Malka shlit"a for Rabbi Moshe Tzanani zt"l

In a gathering full of awe and reverence, the esteemed Rabbi Meir Malka shlit"a eulogized his dear friend from the benches of the beit midrash of the tzaddik, our teacher the esteemed Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, Rabbi Moshe Tzanani zt"l.

These are his holy words:

A figure of spiritual energies and inner work

Hashem allowed us for many years to receive (spiritual) energies from such a lofty and powerful source. Rabbi Meir Malka shlit"a begins his moving eulogy for Rabbi Moshe Tzanani zt"l.

He was able to illuminate the depths of our darkness with emunah (faith), awe, love of Hashem, self-sacrifice, all in our terms, of course, not in his terms.

"Behold, My servant shall prosper, he shall be exalted and lifted up, and shall be very high" (Isaiah 52:13), Rabbi Moshe, we stand in this place and at this time, leave us your energies, leave us your treasures, your energies, where is there in this generation? Where can we receive? Where are they? Where are they in this generation?

Absolute care for every soul of Israel

Please, Rabbi Moshe, you dealt with the souls, you dealt with all levels of souls from the highest to the lowest and the lowest of the low. You know, you know that it is impossible to abandon these souls!

Do not take, do not conceal everything, do not conceal everything. You ascend to where you ascend, we have no comprehension, but see to continue being with us. On the contrary, on the contrary, our Rebbe writes that when the tzaddik ascends above, his perfection is when he is also below, below.

Rabbi Moshe, even when you were with us in this world, you were without a body. Rabbi Moshe, even when you were in this world with us, you were without a body, but now literally you are a neshamah (soul) alone. You are a neshamah, so you are not limited, see, see to be with us here. We need these holy energies, these holy treasures.

Where in the generation, where in the world, where in the world can we obtain this? Just to see the figure up close or from afar!

A figure of serving Hashem and absolute care

From ancient times, even in the years of Bnei Brak, the years of the old city, this holy figure with the siddur and with the eyes inside the siddur. The eyes inside the siddur, he knows by heart, but a terrible work to fix the eyes all prayer time in the siddur. Inside the siddur, receive these inner powers of connection to Hashem.

Rabbi Moshe was full of immense inner powers, very immense! Care, care for every soul! Care for everything happening around, the charity project, the charity project of money, the charity project of kindness, of interest, of - not ignoring, not ignoring and not turning a blind eye. Projects he did himself, or activated additional people.

A living example of dedication to the end

Rabbi Moshe, let's say an example if there is some grasp, we have no grasp, but nevertheless a little, a little from afar or up close we knew. This holy figure served Hashem, with dedication, dedication, true dedication to the end, with dedication to the end, with dedication to the end.

Where do we receive such an example? Where do we receive someone to remind us? Someone to reveal to us that there is such work not to succumb to materialism. A figure that showed us that a Jew is in this world for work, for toil.

Rabbi Moshe, I have no ability, truly I am too small and poor to be the one who eulogizes this holy figure. Just one thing, just every moment and every hour to stand by this holy figure, awaken from emunah, awaken in awe of Hashem, awaken from what awakens.

Father, from where now? From where now? Rabbi Moshe, wherever you ascend to the heights of the heights, please, please, please in this place awaken and continue upon us from your deep and absolute care for the souls of Israel. On the contrary, do not forget them, the souls now need more help, more mercy, more strength.

Rabbi Moshe, surely you will stand to help us from there to bring us additional treasures of mercy, of strength, of holy stubbornness, of holy courage.

I almost fell silent from standing in this terrible gathering, a terrible gathering, to where have we come, to where have we come. But Hashem will have mercy, will have mercy, will have mercy, have mercy on the remaining remnant.

Rabbi Moshe, advocate well, you ascend to where you ascend, give your mind, give your mind, please help those who remain, help those who remain.

Awaken mercy on those who remain.
