"And as they afflicted them, so they multiplied and so they spread" (Exodus 1:12) - a thousand people came to the Shabbat of unity in Meron."

300 places were allocated for the community's avrechim, but the response was very great and a thousand avrechim gathered together in the holy city of Meron, near the sacred resting place of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai. This did not surprise anyone, for everyone knows the verse: "And as they afflicted them, so they multiplied and so they spread" (Exodus 1:12) which precisely describes what the members of the Shuvu Banim Breslov chassidim and students of our teacher Rav Berland shlit"a are experiencing.

The Shabbat was conducted in a light of wonderful strengthening, prayers in elevation, Torah lessons, and holy words delivered by the great rabbis of Breslov Shuvu Banim. These are some of the things that were conveyed.

"Do you call yourself a Breslov chassid today? Let's see what would have happened if you lived in the time of our Rebbe, would you have opposed him or not? If you oppose the tzaddikim of our generation, then surely you would have opposed our Rebbe."

"A Lithuanian avrech who does not know our teacher Rav Berland said, I am beginning to believe that Rav Berland is a great tzaddik, such things that are done to him we have never seen, great tzaddikim did not go through this. Rav Berland is rectifying the world with Hashem's help, in the merit of our holy Rebbe, in the merit of all the tzaddikim and we will merit the complete redemption speedily in our days, Amen."
