The Holy Book Has Appeared: The Shemoneh Esrei Prayer with Kavanah (Intent) — From the Handwritten Manuscript of the Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

With joy and gladness, the wonderful book written by our teacher, the holy Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, in his holy handwriting, is being published.

In the book, our teacher the Rav shlit"a brings an explanation and kavanot (intentions) on every single word of the Shemoneh Esrei prayer.

Our teacher Rav Berland shlit"a wrote this commentary already more than thirty years ago, little by little over the course of about two years, each time continuing with wondrous new insights until the explanation was completed.

Our teacher the Rav shlit"a wrote this holy and awe-inspiring work for one of his close followers, who was very dear to his heart, and who asked the Rav to write such an explanation for him.

In a very wondrous way, until today the world did not merit that this holy work of our teacher Rav Berland shlit"a would come to print, and from there reach the wider public that so longs for an explanation like this. And דווקא in this period, when the Rav shlit"a is bringing about awesome sweetenings through everything he takes upon himself, for the salvation of the People of Israel and the Holy Shechinah—we have merited the printing of this holy work.

In the book there is a commentary on every single word in the Shemoneh Esrei prayer—insights no ear has ever heard, “in the old path from long ago, and nevertheless it is entirely new.” The commentary was written by our teacher Rav Berland shlit"a more than thirty years ago, and only now, with tremendous siyata d’shmaya and with miracles of miracles beyond nature, has it merited to see the light for the first time.
