Tens of thousands arrived at the Hadlakah ceremony of our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, at the holy site of Meron on Lag BaOmer 5778. The site of the Hadlakah, which overlooks the holy gravesite of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, was packed to capacity. Many who had not seen the tzaddik shlit"a for a long time crowded together to merit seeing the radiance of his face and to absorb his holy splendor.

Until Rav Berland shlit"a arrived and began the Hadlakah, the hearts were stirred by the singers Ahrele Samet and Mendy Weiss at the holy site, as the holy melody slowly intensified with the arrival of the Rav shlit"a.
