Thousands arrived at the lighting ceremony of our esteemed teacher, the tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, at the holy site of Meron on Lag BaOmer 5778. The lighting site overlooking the holy resting place of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai was filled to capacity. Many who had never seen the tzaddik shlit"a crowded in to merit seeing the radiance of his face and to absorb from his holy aura.

Until Rav Berland shlit"a arrived and began the lighting, the hearts were inspired by the musicians Aharle Samet and Mendy Weiss at the holy site, as the sacred melody gradually intensified with the arrival of the Rav shlit"a.
