Weiss continues and writes, "In the letter, Rabbi Eliyahu Chaim Rozin, who actually established and built the shul in Meah Shearim, addresses Rav Berland and thanks him for a lesson he gave at the synagogue. In his letter, he describes the feelings that were present and quotes in his letter the words of the Breslov leader of the previous generation, Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Bender, who served as the chief rabbi of the shul for decades and was the rabbi of Breslov chassidim even in Uman about a hundred years ago.
