The Merit of the Forefathers Will Protect Us • The Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a and His Students in Prayer at the Cave of Machpelah on Erev Shavuos

On Wednesday afternoon, the 4th of Sivan, the Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a arrived unexpectedly to pray in the City of the Forefathers, Chevron—offering a quiet prayer on the seventh step facing the Cave of Machpelah. Many of our people who arrived a few minutes later prayed together with The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, for the salvation of the community and of each individual.
The Rav shlit"a recited, for more than an hour, seven Tikkun HaKlali in succession—one after another—with melody, sweetness, and tremendous joy. After completing the Tikkun HaKlali, he prayed Minchah together with our people with heartfelt tunes. After the Shemoneh Esrei, The Rav shlit"a led the Chazaras HaShatz with very great vitality. Afterwards, he delivered a short lesson and blessed everyone who had come with shidduchim and with every kind of salvation. He then returned to his holy home for Maariv and the final Counting of the Omer—Malchus sheb’Malchus—which continued for more than an hour and a half with powerful vitality and great enthusiasm, accompanied by singing and melodies.
Below is documentation from the prayer at the Cave of Machpelah in the City of the Forefathers on Erev Shavuos:
