The Messengers of the Satan Did Not Allow the Decree to Be Stopped

WE ARE BRINGING HERE THE WORDS OF THE KABBALIST RAV SHLOMO ELMELIACH SHLIT"A, AUTHOR OF A COMMENTARY ON THE ETZ CHAIM OF THE HOLY ARI, AND THE WORDS OF THE FAMOUS OUTREACH RABBI RAV SHALOM ARUSH SHLIT"A, THE CHAIRMAN OF CHUT SHEL CHESED INSTITUTIONS.  THE TERRIFYING WORDS WERE SAID TWO WEEKS BEFORE ROSH HASHANAH 5784, AT THE BEGINNING OF SEPTEMBER, A LITTLE MORE THAN A MONTH BEFORE THE SIMCHAT TORAH MASSACRE.

IN HIS WORDS, RAV ELIMELIACH SHLIT"A WARNS THAT THE HUNTING CAMPAIGN OF THE PERSECUTORS OF MOREINU HARAV ELIEZER BERLAND SHLIT"A, AND THEIR EXTRAORDINARY EFFORTS IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE UKRAINIAN AUTHORITIES TO NOT ALLOW RAV BERLAND TO ENTER UMAN WILL PREVENT THE CANCELLATION OF A HORRIBLE TRAGEDY WHICH HAS BEEN DECREED ON THE JEWISH PEOPLE.  RAV ELMELIACH EXPLAINS THAT RAV BERLAND'S REACHING THE HOLY PRAYER GATHERING IN UMAN ROSH HASHANAH 5784 HAS GREAT SPIRITUAL SIGNIFICANCE WHICH CANNOT BE EXPLAINED IN WORDS.  AS IS KNOWN TO THOSE WHO UNDERSTANDS HIDDEN WISDOM AND TO ANYONE WHO IS A FAMILIAR WITH THE WORK AND SPIRITUAL ROLE OF RAV BERLAND SHLIT"A, THE RAV IS THE TALMID MUVHAK [THE QUINTESSENTIAL PUPIL] OF RABBEINU NACHMAN IN THIS GENERATION, AND HIS REACHING UMAN IS AN ASPECT OF THE "UNIFICATION OF THE MOON AND THE SUN," THE UNIFICATION OF RABBI AND TALMID.

This unification was necessary in order to bring about lofty spiritual works and, likewise, to sweeten judgments, and to bring the redemption through kindness and not through harsh decrees.  Everyone saw the suffering and persecution which Rav Berland took onto himself over the entire past decade.  All of this was in order so that the redemption would come with mercy "and not in the sign of the Akrav [Scorpio] with rivers of blood," in the words of Rav Berland shlit"a.  However, wicked spiritual powers, which Rav Elmeliach calls the "Satan," entered into their messengers and they mamash ran amok with the most extremist behavior, as if Rav Berland coming to Uman would be the most terrible thing.  And likewise, the Samech-Mem [the Satan] knew that really the most terrible thing for it would be the coming of the great Talmid [Rav Berland] to Uman, and the unification with Rabbeinu HaKadosh, Rebbe Nachman of Breslov.

To our great sorrow, the messengers of the Satan succeeded in thwarting all Rav Berland's efforts to make it to Uman on Rosh Hashanah 5784.  The Tzaddikim and Kabbalists were horrified, since all of them understood that Rav Berland's coming to Uman at such a time of a spiritual war was critical.  Thousands of Rav Berland's followers -- Breslov Chasidim and Tzaddikim from Israel and around the world -- attempted to sweeten the decree by saying Tehilim and screaming to Heaven.  To our grief, the messengers succeeded and in fact a harsh decree like no other came down on our heads.
