The Path to Uman is Closed Because There is No Unity - Rav Shalom Arush shlit"a

Rav Shalom Arush shlit"a, head of the 'Chut Shel Chessed' institutions and one of the great Breslov influencers, spoke on the Breslov information line regarding the halting of flights to Ukraine and the closing of the way to Uman. Rav Arush recounted that after long hitbodedut (seclusion), he reached the conclusion that all the obstacles to reaching Uman this year are only because there is no love and unity among the Breslov Chassidim traveling to Uman. These are his holy words.
May it be the will that these words fall upon understanding hearts, and through the power of unity, may all the channels of abundance be opened.
"I tell you that today, in hitbodedut, we reached the conclusion that the problem because of which Hashem and Rebbe Nachman have not accepted us is that there is no peace. There is no peace, there is no unity; that is the reason—there is no unity among us. It is not pleasant to say, but we will tell the truth so that there will be unity."
"I am saying this to everyone who hears us, and to everyone who can influence others. You have this Rav and you have that Rav, you have your way and you have yours—everything is excellent. But when we travel to Uman, we have a common denominator: we all came to Uman to fulfill the command of Rebbe Nachman, who said: 'Let no man be missing.'"
"Therefore, in this we are all equal, and in this we are all brothers and all united. Therefore, I reached the conclusion in hitbodedut that one must pray only for peace and love among the Breslov Chassidim. Certainly, one must pray for peace for all of Am Yisrael, but that in Uman there should be such unity, such love, such peace—and that will be the Geulah."
"Last year we did not merit this; I know from up close what I know. We did not merit that there should be peace, love, and unity in Uman. I have nothing to do but pray."
"I reached the conclusion that instead of praying that Hashem open the way to Uman, for what? The reason the way to Uman was closed is because there is no peace and unity among those traveling and among those staying in Uman. One must pray that there be peace and love."
"We came to fulfill the command of the Rebbe. The fact that you do not follow the method of the other, and he does not follow your method—that will leave everyone in their place. We all came to fulfill the command of Rebbe Nachman. When can there be a kibbutz (gathering)? When there is love and unity! If not, then there is no kibbutz, even if we all sit together."
"In order for there to be a kibbutz through which Rebbe Nachman will bring the Geulah, there must be a kibbutz, love, and unity. Therefore, I said, instead of me investing so many prayers that the way will open, let us invest the prayers that there will be peace and love among the travelers. Certainly, this will be the complete Geulah, a million percent. And everyone who hears me, let everyone invest prayers for this: that there be peace, love, and unity."
"I tell you in a loud voice: I love each and every one truly. I am not just saying this with my mouth; I am really willing to swear it. I love each and every one without exception, even those who do not follow my method or my path—it does not matter to me. I love everyone. I walk with the faith that everyone walks as Hashem leads him, as Rebbe Nachman guides him. What do I care? I am not the master of the world, and I am not the Rebbe of the world; the Rebbe of the world is Rebbe Nachman."
"So Rebbe Nachman leads him like that—I do not get into it. It does not interest me who is right; it is not my business. I love everyone. And so, everyone needs to know regarding himself: I love everyone, everyone walks as Rebbe Nachman guides him. For this, one must pray: that there be peace and love. Of course, if there is peace and love in Am Yisrael, Mashiach will come immediately, right away. Even now, as it is Thursday night, we hear the shofar of Mashiach."
"Let us pray for the cause that brings all the problems: machloket (strife). One must distance oneself from machloket completely. Only peace and love, love and unity. We came to gather together, even if there are many minyanim in Uman; if everyone loves one another, it is called one minyan. But if there is no love and they say: 'No, in this minyan I will not pray.'"
"As someone told me, last Rosh Hashanah we saw one thing: that everyone knew where they would not pray—'with these I will not pray.' Woe is me, 'with these I will not pray'? Woe is me, shame and disgrace! Is this called believing in Rebbe Nachman? Even if you do not... but on Rosh Hashanah, certainly, we need to be together. Separately, because the place is not big enough, but we pray together."
"May it be the will that we truly merit this."
"We thank Hashem Yitbarach that we merited to awaken this point."
In an additional conversation, Rav Arush shlit"a appealed to the public with a holy call to unite in the work of prayer and hitbodedut, and through this power, to sweeten and remove the decree:
"Very dear avreichim, you who are close to..., living and breathing, now they returned about 80 people to us from the airport. They arrived there and they are returning them. In short, every moment there is a different rumor."
"We live with the faith that there is a Master of this world. What else is there in this world? Therefore, from Heaven, they want more prayers from us. We have no possibility to organize a bus (to go out for hitbodedut); everyone will go out in cars, walk on foot to Shimon HaTzaddik, to King David, I don't know, everyone will go to the field in Sanhedria."
"Everyone will arrive, to do two hours of hitbodedut only for this: for the opening of the way to Uman, to plead, to ask, really to present all the arguments that exist in the world."
"There is none besides Him. We do not need to get into how it happens in this world—this one said, that one said—we do not care. We will argue: 'Master of the World, You have not yet opened the way completely.' Certainly, You opened part of the way; Baruch Hashem, we see that some Jews have already arrived. And that is it; now the reality is that they are returning Jews who arrived there just now, or they need isolation afterwards in Israel, and I don't know if they can fly to Uman at all..."
"Really... do not fall into small-mindedness, names of people, so-and-so, they said—nothing. Only to strengthen oneself that there is a Creator of the world. Hashem opened a little and closed it again; we ask that He open it completely."
"And the truth is that everything is from Heaven. The Rebbe does not want them to arrive so early—people will just go crazy there—everything is from Heaven."
"We will pray, it will open, and we will merit that there will be actual travel. Two weeks before Rosh Hashanah, everything will be good. Smile—Hashem will protect you."
