The Song of Longing for Uman Composed by the Esteemed Rabbi Eliezer Berland
shlit"a

The month of Elul is in full swing. In normal years, the scent of the journey to the holy gravesite of Rebbe Nachman in Uman would be floating in the air during this period. This year, the scent of yearning for the holy gravesite only intensifies, while in the background, a fierce war is being waged against the Breslov Chassidim and all those attempting to reach Uman for the days of Rosh Hashanah.
What could be better than connecting to the atmosphere of longing for the holy gravesite through the majestic voice of the tzaddik Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a singing "You brought us until here."
The song was composed by Rav Berland shlit"a himself many years ago, and over the years, he added sections that only reflected the desires and yearnings for the holy gravesite. The choirs of Chassidim sing this song of longing as an expression of the heart's yearning and desire for the place of the tzaddik, Rebbe Nachman.
In the video, Rav Berland shlit"a sings the song with the large crowd at a conference held in Or Akiva.

The lyrics to the song of longing composed by Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a:
You brought us until here, bring us to Uman.
Without passports and travel documents, only songs and dances.
Without debts and loans, only prayers and requests.
Without visas and permits, only songs and praises.
Without shopping and purchases, for every second is precious.
With babies and children, believe that there will be miracles.
Without eating and drinking, only prayer and immersion.
Without sleep and naps, only at his holy gravesite.
Without cameras and filming, only desires and yearnings.
Without lotteries and restrictions, only everyone gathered together.
We will establish yeshivot and hotels, around our holy Rebbe.
On Rosh Hashanah we are all present, in a hall of thousands upon thousands.
All the buildings belonging to the Kloiz, in honor of Rosh Hashanah are being vacated.
This year we pray in the Kloiz, and in the merit of this we will be saved with an eternal salvation.
From Jerusalem to Uman we land directly, and immediately prostrate ourselves on the gravesite.
Through songs and dances, we create new heavens and earth.
Through prostration on the graves of the tzaddikim, we will hasten the building of the eternal house.
Through his holy gravesite, the Holy of Holies, governments of tzaddikim will arise.
Through the light of lights and the first three, our eyes will see wonders.
Our holy Rebbe, the Holy of Holies, at every moment and time renews new things.
Our holy Rebbe, for all eternity, will bring us Mashiach ben David.
In the merit of our holy Rebbe, the totality of all the tzaddikim, we will merit the giving of the Torah with thunder and lightning.
A bright light is in the heavens, it will save all the heavens of the heavens.
Through the love of all the friends, we will merit the blessing of the radiance of the worlds.
Through the love of all the tzaddikim, we will merit the influence of all mercies.
Through the intellect that includes all intellects, we will merit the salvation of all the worlds.
Through the intellect that includes the Foundation Stone, we will merit the complete Geulah.
On Rosh Hashanah, the Foundation Stone, the entire creation is included.
Through Rosh Hashanah, the light of lights, we will merit the light of the pure and refined.
Without missiles and masks, only Psalms and tractates.
Without wars and sirens, only to break the hearts.
Without shelters and sealed rooms, only to pierce the sealed hearts.
Without atoms and nuclear war, only to believe in the true tzaddik.
Through guarding the eyes on the roads, we will merit the surrounding lights.
Without obstacles and confusions, only on the wings of eagles.
You brought us until here, bring us to Uman.
