"The People of Israel Are in Mortal Danger and We Have No Way to Be Saved Except
with Our Mouths" - Rav Berland on the Reasons for the Prayer Assembly in Hebron

Next Sunday, may it be for the good, the night of Zot Chanukah, it is happening at the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron! His Holiness, the Tzaddik, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a has already issued several announcements and calls to the general public to inform them of the importance of participating in the prayer assembly in Hebron. However, the Rav shlit"a continues to emphasize the obligation to arrive at the gathering, and whoever reads the words of the Rav shlit"a will understand how grave and critical the situation is.
"The terrible and awful situation in which the entire People of Israel is in mortal danger, and all the citizens of Israel are under the threat of a barrage of missiles. After they fired 400 missiles at the cities of Ashkelon, Be'er Sheva, Netivot, Ofakim, and Sderot, now they are preparing for thousands upon thousands of missiles that will reach as far as Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. And we have no way to stop this because the whole world is against us; they can launch 10,000 missiles and we only one, and they will say that we are the aggressor and they are the victim. They will say that we started it and they are only defending themselves."
"We have no power, only Tehillim (Psalms). All the attempts by the State of Israel to stop the missiles of Hezbollah and Hamas have been in vain. Every day we are threatened with thousands of new missiles, capable of hitting any target with millimeter precision. The People of Israel are in literal mortal danger, and we have no way to be saved except through our mouths, 'The voice is the voice of Yaakov, but the hands are the hands of Esav' (Genesis 27:22). We are truly at the final moments that we can remain in the Land of Israel, in the State of Israel, because the goal of the Arabs is to eliminate everyone here; they are not interested in whether one is religious, secular, Charedi, or Neturei Karta, that does not interest them. They want to eliminate every single Jew down to the last one of us. Whether he is secular or religious, whether he is Mizrahi, whether he wears a knitted yarmulke or a black yarmulke."
"It is written, 'And G-d separated between the light and the darkness' (Genesis 1:4), but they do not distinguish between light and darkness. Now we are all in literal mortal danger, therefore we must hasten this assembly so that there will be close to fifty thousand people, and everyone will complete the entire Book of Tehillim. This is the 'shoes of the Shechinah,' these are the shoes that the brothers of Yosef fought over, for we have not found that a brother sells his brother for a pair of shoes. He would rather go barefoot and without socks, as long as he does not sell his brother. Rather, the dispute was whether every week they would finish saying the entire Book of Tehillim, which is the shoes of the Shechinah. This was the dispute between the brothers of Yosef, how much is the 'slice of the pomegranate,' and therefore everyone must finish at least the entire Book of Tehillim at the assembly, and take advantage of the opportunity where 50,000 are saying Tehillim together. It is like billions of people saying Tehillim, which will certainly stop the missiles."
"Only Tehillim can stop missiles - no IDF, no weapons, no tanks, no Patriots, and no Iron Dome can stop the missiles. Only the Tehillim that will be said at this assembly will stop the missiles, and in the merit of this, everyone will live long lives like Yitzchak, in the merit of participating in this assembly. Everyone must raise their contribution of 1,500 shekels, because hundreds of buses will arrive, and the Rav will certainly arrive as well, so there should be no doubt."
"All of the People of Israel are invited to the assembly to complete the entire Book of Tehillim, and this will wipe Hamas off the face of the earth."
