The Rebbe of Berdichev
Rav Berland is the Tzaddik of the Generation Who Sees from One End of the World to the Other

Recently, we have been witnessing a joyous phenomenon where many in the general public are crying out, for throughout history, the greatest of Israel have used things that are ostensibly outside the realm of medicine in order to draw down blessing and healing for those who turn to them. We bring before you the words of the Admor of Berditchev, Givat Ze'ev, Jerusalem, who went to purchase Mentos candies before the Holy Sabbath; these are the words he spoke before the camera.
"I am distributing Mentos in honor of the Holy Sabbath for the success of Rabbi Eliezer ben Atiya (His Holiness, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a), that he may be released from prison; this is the tzaddik of the generation, like Rabbi Akiva who sat in prison."
"We must pray for him to be released; he told everyone, he knew when they would arrest him and when they would release him."
"This is the tzaddik of the generation who sees from one end of the world to the other."
"And everyone who eats a Mentos—since Adar has entered, we increase in joy—and in the merit of the Mentos, they will have healings and all salvations."
"Be strong and courageous, for the success of Rabbi Eliezer Berland ben Atiya, that he may be released from prison quickly."
