The Sanctity of Shabbos — The Daily Chizuk from Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

The Daily Chizuk from our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a – Holy words for the students of Nechamat Tzion, 8th grade
Monday, 19 Tammuz 5782 – Holy practices for the day of Shabbat, these are his holy words:
It is barely permitted to sleep on Shabbat, barely...
Shabbat is not for idle chatter and not for sunflower seeds – sunflower seeds are forbidden; whoever learns in Shuvu Banim is forbidden from eating sunflower seeds!
It is merely animal feed that causes spiritual impurity – not for the holy Shabbat.
You can eat a sandwich, some cake – not sunflower seeds.
Every day finish Tehillim, study the Rishonim, it is possible to finish the book Orchot Tzaddikim, it is easy to finish the book – to learn how strict they were, even saying 'Shalom' is barely permitted (due to the holiness of Shabbat).
