“The Sukkah Each Person Builds Now Is Literally a Sukkah of Fire” • The Daily Lesson from the holy Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Below is the full daily lesson as delivered by The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, on Thursday night, the eve of the 14th of Tishrei, after the Ma’ariv prayer:
“So today is already the 13th of Tishrei. The 11th is Chesed within Hod; the 12th—yesterday—was Netzach, Chesed within Netzach. Today we are at Chesed within Tiferes—the 13th. Now tonight we are already on the night of the 14th, Erev Sukkos; this is Chesed within Gevurah. Tomorrow will be Chesed within Chesed—of the inner lights. And the Sukkah is Chesed within Chesed—of the surrounding lights—of Imma Ila’ah. Because the Sukkah will be a Sukkah of fire. In the future to come, there will be a Sukkah of fire over all of Jerusalem. ‘And Hashem will create over every place of Mount Zion’ (Isaiah 4:5)—He will create “over,” meaning: when Melech HaMoshiach comes, He will create over the place of Mount Zion; all of Mount Zion will be covered with a Sukkah of fire. ‘And over her gatherings: a cloud by day, and smoke, and the brightness of a flaming fire!’ Because every Sukkah that we build is a flaming fire! The s’chach is made of fire. Every Sukkah that is built for the sake of Heaven—the s’chach is made of fire! ‘A flaming fire at night, for over all glory there will be a canopy.’ This will be a Sukkah over all Jerusalem; the platform of Moshiach will be over all Jerusalem. The dove of Noach will come, and it will bring him the crown—because the dove of Noach disappeared; no one knows where it is. Now they are searching for it. In the end it will come with the crown and place it on the head of Moshiach. And then Hashem will build a Sukkah over all Jerusalem: ‘A Sukkah shall be for shade by day’ (ibid. 6)—and this will be a Sukkah of fire: ‘from heat, and for refuge, and for shelter from storm and from rain.’ And this is the Sukkah that each person builds now—that it is literally a Sukkah of fire. In this merit we will merit the complete Geulah and the Third Beis HaMikdash, speedily in our days, Amen!”
To watch the replay of last night’s Ma’ariv prayer with singing and niggunim, the lesson begins at 56:42:
