Thousands Merit to Enter the Inner Sanctuary for a Blessing of a Good Year

In the days leading up to the new year, thousands of students of The Rav shlit"a from all across the country merited to enter the inner sanctuary to receive a blessing for a good and sweet year, and to receive a jar of honey from the holy hands of The Rav shlit"a.

Each day, about five hundred of our people—who received the joyous message that they were invited to enter the inner sanctuary—merited to go in one after another, from 5:30 until the Ma’ariv prayer, and to receive the holy jar of honey into their hands. Beyond the giving of the honey, The Rav shlit"a, in his great love for every Jew wherever he may be, greeted each person warmly, offered guidance, and blessed every single one according to his request and his need.

It is worth noting that for the sake of entering the inner sanctuary—which was conducted with exemplary order and speed, in a “conveyor-belt” method—a new door was built at great expense for the home of The Rav shlit"a, especially for the comfort of those ascending to enter the inner sanctuary. Throughout all the hours of this gathering, it was impossible to miss the great joy shining from the radiant faces of everyone who came through the gates of the holy home of The Rav shlit"a—from every part of the spectrum—and the tremendous excitement as they approached their entry into the inner sanctuary.
