Through the Kinnot "Your Iniquity is Ended, O Daughter of Zion" - All the Sins in the World are Forgiven • A Lesson After the Recitation of the Kinnot from the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

In the year 5780 (2020) - the year of the Corona - our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, was in the Tzalmon prison. Then we merited that he emanated his light upon us even though he was hidden, and from within the prison, he contacted his flock to say the Kinnot (laments) with them. After finishing the recitation of the Kinnot, he delivered a fiery lesson for nearly an hour. Before you is the full lesson delivered then:

Now it is after the Fiftieth Gate. The Fiftieth Gate, the tikkun (rectification) is the [letter] Nun. Kinnot (laments) are intended for rectification, like the daughters of Zelophehad, whose judgment [contains a] large Nun. Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah—who only wants Hashem, therefore all the sins of that generation were forgiven. "Your iniquity is ended, O daughter of Zion" (Lamentations 4:22). Through the Kinnot, "Your iniquity is ended, O daughter of Zion," all the sins in the world were forgiven. "He will no longer exile you"—all the sins are finished. "Your iniquity is ended, O daughter of Zion"—your iniquity is finished, the sin of the Tree of Knowledge is finished, and the Tree of Knowledge was completely burned, not a trace remains. Not even ash. And the wine we will drink tomorrow, that will already be the Yayin HaMeshumar (the wine preserved since creation), the wine of the Tree of Life. Next year they will drink wine on the night following Tisha B'Av. The Havdalah (ceremony marking the end of a holy day) will be on Sunday night. On Motzaei Shabbos (Saturday night) they will sit on the ground. The whole point is to drink the Yayin HaMeshumar, the wine of Tirosh (new wine). Tirosh is the Tirosh of the Beis HaMikdash (Holy Temple). All the wines are wines from the Beis HaMikdash. Every wine is Yayin HaMeshumar, wine from before the sin. All the work from tomorrow is to return the 370,000 lights. Therefore, there is the story of Rabbi Eliezer and Rabbi Yehoshua [and the elders]. Rabbi Eliezer was sleeping, and Rabbi Yehoshua was awake. Rabbi Yehoshua was startled, and Rabbi Eliezer woke up. Rabbi Eliezer said to him, "Why were you startled?" Rabbi Yehoshua said to him, "I saw such a great light that exists in the world, which is called Leviathan, for the main thing is the Leviathan." Now on Tisha B'Av, the secret of the Leviathan is revealed. Through the Leviathan, we merit that all sins are atoned for. "Can you draw out Leviathan with a hook, or press down his tongue with a cord?" (Job 40:25). To draw out Leviathan with a hook? "Can you fill his skin with harpoons, or his head with fishing spears?" (ibid 40:31). The "tziltzal" (harpoon) of the Leviathan—for even the "tziltzal" of his skin shines from one end of the world to the other. The whole matter is the "tziltzal," it is the "tziltzul" (ringing sound), this is the secret that we need to reach the "tziltzal." Now Hashem wants to build the walls of Jerusalem, life forever. In Jerusalem, one lives forever. In Jerusalem, it is impossible to die; one lives forever. "Hashem will command the blessing with you... life forever." Now we live forever. "Hashem will command the blessing with you, life forever." If Adam HaRishon (the first man) had said the word "Chaim" (life), he would have lived forever. Hashem said to him, "You shall surely die," yet he lived a thousand [years minus seventy]. He gave seventy to David. Abraham gave him 17. The Zohar says if Isaac had given him even one minute, he would have conquered the whole world, he would have shaken kingdoms, and then there would have been no exile. If Isaac had given David even a minute, even a second, there would never have been an exile, because the main thing is the Gevuros (severities). The angel Gabriel is the lion. "Who and who are going?" (Exodus 10:8). The angel Gabriel, "Who and who are going" (Mi va-Mi ha-holchim) is the numerical value of Aryeh (lion). Mi = 50, va-Mi = 50, Ha-holchim = 116. "Who and who are going"—the lion will go with you. Wherever a person goes, the lion of the Chariot accompanies him. This is what we merit now on Tisha B'Av, through the Kinnot—the Lion. Therefore, the month of Av is the sign of Leo (Aryeh/Lion). The lion of the Chariot accompanies us. The month of Av exactly corresponds to the Lion. The lion accompanies us now. Now we are walking with the lion of the Chariot, 370,000 lights, 700,000 lions. The Zohar says in Parshas Va'etchanan, "And it was when the Ark traveled" (Numbers 10:35), why are the [inverted] Nuns placed there? Because it is the Ten Commandments. Tomorrow we will read the Ten Commandments. Immediately we receive the Ten Commandments, we receive the Tablets. The Chiddushei HaRim says that the Giving of the Torah was with voices and lightning. Why [is it written that] we did not receive the second Tablets in Parshas Va'etchanan with voices and lightning? Hashem wants to give us the Torah anew. In Va'etchanan, we said 88 (PH) had already entered the land. 88 was the blessing of Balaam. The Rambam (Maimonides) says 72. The Rambam did not have the Midrash Tanchuma, for [the Midrash on] Vayikra and Devarim was only revealed in 5026—400 years after the passing of the Rambam. There was only Bereishis and Shemos. Everything was burned. "Ask, O you who are burned in fire"—all the Midrashim. Only Bereishis and Shemos remained. Therefore, the Rambam says it was in 72. But in 88 they entered, and after that, in the year 2928, the First Temple was built. "Shalach Tishalach" (you shall surely send away) the mother—this is the destruction. 408 (Tach) is the building. 808 (Tatah) already the destruction began, exactly two thousand years. Today it is 1900 [years since the destruction]. Now we are at the moment of the Geulah (Redemption), when all sins are forgiven. "Your iniquity is ended, O daughter of Zion"—all sins are finished. Pakod! (Remember/Visit). Pakod is [the year] 5780 (Tashap). "He has remembered (Pakad) your iniquity, O daughter of Edom; He has uncovered your sins" (Lamentations 4:22). All the sins of Edom. Edom is only scorpions (akravim); they are reincarnations of scorpions. Therefore, Rehoboam said, "You shall eat scorpions." Meaning, a tikkun (rectification) will be made for scorpions. Edom is scorpions. Therefore, the Beis HaMikdash (Holy Temple) will be built in [the month/sign of] Scorpio (Akrav). And now is the moment that the Lion goes with us, and it is Scorpio. The Beis HaMikdash will be built in Scorpio. Therefore, Rehoboam said "only scorpions, only scorpions shall you eat." Who would choose you? Only a crazy person talks like that. And he said this because his young advisors advised him so. And he asks: weren't the "children" (young advisors) Torah scholars from the "Crown of the Torah," the best Yeshiva in the world? The "children" also have intellect; these are not children from a kindergarten, an after-school program, or a nursery. These are not children from a monastery. Since they were immense sages, why did they give him such advice? Rather, Rehoboam said to them: from today there will be iron discipline. If a person wakes up at 11:00—it's over! In the time of King Solomon, the earliest they woke up was 10:00, corresponding to the Ten Commandments. Immediately after Tisha B'Av, we read the Ten Commandments. They used to wake up at 10:00. Rehoboam says: with me, it's scorpions. Whoever is in bed at 10:00—woe to him! At 4:00, jugs of scorpions will be poured, and at 10:00, jugs of scorpions will be poured. At 10:00, from 4:00 in the morning, all the beds will be filled with scorpions. There is no [sleeping] after 4:00. At 4:00, already in the Mikvah (ritual bath), in the water. In the boiling water, one performs 7 immersions, and that's it. Or ten, even better. This is the whole of Tisha B'Av, 370,000 lights. We merit 370,000 lights, 370,000 lights, and we sweeten the 405 Gevuros (severities). "Who and who are going?" Pharaoh saw that only Joshua and Caleb would enter. We see that he had Ruach HaKodesh (Divine Inspiration). Therefore, he did Teshuvah (repentance). He knew that Moses is true and his Torah is true. At the beginning of the enslavement, for three months, he said, "I will not make decrees against the People of Israel; they are a holy nation. They learn Torah all day." Now Hashem said to Moses, "Come to Pharaoh." Pharaoh did Teshuvah. Pharaoh was before everyone. Pharaoh was holy of holies. Pharaoh became king over Nineveh for 700 years until Jonah arrived. Immediately they did Teshuvah; it took 700 years. Once Esau told me that his clothes were stolen, and he found them with his mother. He remained without clothes, poor thing. "And he lifted up... his voice and wept" (Genesis 27:38). He cried like a baby. Three tears fell from him. The first tear—the First Temple was destroyed. The second tear—the Second Temple was destroyed. The third tear—it depends. Now everything is hanging in the balance. From now, after we have already said the Kinnot (laments), it is already the moment of the Geulah (Redemption). Now a Beis HaMikdash (Holy Temple) of fire will descend. At 7:00 we will start Mincha (afternoon prayer). The Rav will say Ashrei at 7:00, and after that the Torah reading. After that, there will be the Haftarah (reading from the Prophets). It is written in the name of Rav Hai Gaon that there was a Haftarah at every Mincha. It is written in Rav Hai Gaon that at every Mincha, until the time of the Rambam, at every Mincha on the Holy Shabbos they also read a Haftarah. There is no [prayer] without a Haftarah. The main thing is the Haftarah; the main thing is to read the Haftarah. "Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches" (Jeremiah 9:22). It's over! This boasting (from the word 'pere' - wild man) is finished. This is the end here. We go until the end. Rehoboam said everyone will receive scorpions. Shuvu Banim is the method of Rehoboam. Rehoboam said "only scorpions," so who would choose you? But it is exactly the opposite: everyone wants scorpions, everyone wants a firm hand, everyone wants discipline, everyone wants iron discipline, everyone wants to be Torah scholars. Because at a quarter to six is the Netz (sunrise). From 6:00 to 6:00 is 14 hours that one can learn without interruption. To finish the entire Shas (Talmud). Immediately after Tisha B'Av, we finish the entire Shas. Immediately after Havdalah, we finish the entire Shas. Havdalah will be next year. Today there is no Havdalah. Tomorrow there will be Kiddush. Immediately after Kiddush, we finish the entire Shas. It is not a problem to finish the entire Shas; it is the simplest thing to finish the entire Shas. Therefore, there were 60 chairs for the Elders of Athens. But they merited to have 60 chairs, 60 rooms, 60 orders of Mishnah which contain 60 volumes. It is written that the fish in Torah 3 [of Likutey Moharan]—everything is 60 volumes, 60 tractates. A large fish, 60 houses. A person can know all the secrets of the Torah by heart in one second, immediately after Maariv (evening prayer). 8:00 Maariv, 7:00 Mincha. On the spot, we finish the entire Shas or the entire Ketzos [HaChoshen]. The entire Ketzos HaChoshen—the entire Ketzos is a commentary on the Rivash, on the Maharit. The Rambam says that it is forbidden to sleep at night, especially after Tisha B'Av. It is forbidden to sleep. There is no such thing from today—no sleep. We're finished! From now, a person finishes Kinnot (laments)—no sleep. We go to the Kotel (Western Wall), say seven Tikkun HaKlalis (The General Rectification) there and return. And after that, one can rest until Mincha. Now everyone goes to the Kotel, says seven Tikkun HaKlalis, and returns to sleep until Mincha.
