Today is Forty-Eight Days of the Omer • The Omer-Counting Text and a Prayer from the Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a for Yesod Sheb’Malchus

The Order of the Omer-Counting Text (Sefard):
For the sake of the unification of the Holy One, blessed is He, and His Shechinah, with awe and with love—to unify the Name Y-H with V-H in perfect unity, in the name of all Israel. I am hereby ready and prepared to fulfill the positive mitzvah of counting the Omer, as it is written in the Torah: “And you shall count for yourselves from the morrow of the Shabbos, from the day you bring the Omer of the waving—seven complete weeks shall there be. Until the morrow of the seventh Shabbos you shall count fifty days, and you shall bring a new offering to Hashem.” And may the pleasantness of Hashem our God be upon us; establish for us the work of our hands—establish the work of our hands.
Blessed are You, Hashem our God, King of the universe, Who sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us concerning the counting of the Omer.
Today is forty-eight days, which are six weeks and six days of the Omer.
For the Conductor, with melodies—a psalm, a song: God be gracious to us and bless us; may He shine His face upon us, Selah. That Your way may be known on earth, Your salvation among all nations. Let peoples thank You, O God; let all peoples thank You. Nations will rejoice and sing, for You will judge peoples with fairness, and guide nations on earth, Selah. Let peoples thank You, O God; let all peoples thank You. The earth has yielded its produce; God, our God, will bless us. God will bless us, and all the ends of the earth will fear Him.
Ana B’Koach, with the greatness of Your right hand, release what is bound. Accept the songful prayer of Your people; strengthen us, purify us, Awesome One. Please, Mighty One—guard, like the apple of the eye, those who seek Your unity. Bless them, purify them; with the mercies of Your righteousness, always bestow upon them. Powerful and Holy One, in Your abundant goodness, lead Your congregation. Unique and Exalted One, turn to Your people—those who remember Your holiness. Blessed is the Name of the glory of His kingship forever and ever.
Master of the universe, You commanded us through Moshe Your servant to count the Omer, in order to purify us from our kelipos and from our impurities, as You wrote in Your Torah: “And you shall count for yourselves from the morrow of the Shabbos, from the day you bring the Omer of the waving—seven complete weeks shall there be. Until the morrow of the seventh Shabbos you shall count fifty days”—so that the souls of Your people Israel will be purified from their defilement. Therefore, may it be Your will, Hashem our God and God of our fathers, that in the merit of the Omer-counting that I counted today, what I damaged in the sefirah of Yesod Sheb’Malchus be repaired; and may I be purified and sanctified with the holiness from Above. Through this, may abundant shefa be drawn down in all the worlds—repairing our souls, our spirits, and our neshamas from every dross and blemish, and purifying us and sanctifying us with Your supernal holiness. Amen, Selah.

Master of the universe, Almighty—Whom no plan can be withheld from—grant us, in the sefirah of Yesod Sheb’Malchus, to bring the complete salvation to the people of Israel, as it is said: “He will begin to save Israel.” And may the words of the Chasam Sofer be fulfilled in us (Responsa 98, Choshen Mishpat): that in every generation the soul of Moshiach is present, and we only need to pray that we will have the merit, and that he will be revealed to us. And just as Moshiach ben David is already present now among us here, so too, draw upon us already now—on this holy and awe-inspiring day—all the lights of Moshiach and of the complete Geulah, as it is written in Shir HaShirim: “Behold, he stands behind our wall, watching through the windows, peering through the lattices.” And just as [the light of] Mordechai the Jew [shone], so too shine upon us now, at this very moment, the illumination of Mordechai and Esther; and may we merit the complete Geulah in the blink of an eye. Amen—forever, Selah, and ever. [embeddoc url="https://www.shuvubanimint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/מז-יסוד-שבמלכות.pdf" download="all" viewer="google"]
