Today is Forty-Seven Days of the Omer • The Omer Counting Text and a Prayer by the Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a for Hod Sheb’Malchus

The Order of the Omer Counting Text (Sefard):

For the sake of the unification of the Holy One, blessed is He, and His Shechinah, with awe and with love—to unify the Name Y-H with V-H in a complete unification, in the name of all Israel. Behold, I am ready and prepared to fulfill the positive mitzvah of counting the Omer, as it is written in the Torah: “And you shall count for yourselves from the morrow of the Shabbos, from the day you bring the Omer of the waving—seven complete weeks shall there be. Until the morrow of the seventh week you shall count fifty days, and you shall bring a new meal-offering to Hashem.” And may the pleasantness of Hashem our God be upon us; establish for us the work of our hands—establish the work of our hands.
Blessed are You, Hashem our God, King of the universe, Who sanctified us with His mitzvos and commanded us concerning the counting of the Omer.
Today is forty-seven days, which are six weeks and five days of the Omer
For the conductor, with melodies, a psalm—a song: God be gracious to us and bless us; may He shine His face upon us, Selah. So that Your way may be known on earth, Your salvation among all nations. Let peoples thank You, O God; let all peoples thank You. Nations will rejoice and sing, for You will judge peoples with fairness, and guide nations on earth, Selah. Let peoples thank You, O God; let all peoples thank You. The earth has yielded its produce; God, our God, will bless us. God will bless us, and all the ends of the earth will fear Him.
Ana B’Koach, with the greatness of Your right hand, release the bound. Accept the song of Your people; strengthen us, purify us, Awesome One. Please, Mighty One—guard those who seek Your Oneness as the apple of the eye. Bless them, purify them; with the mercies of Your righteousness, always repay them. Powerful and Holy One, in Your abundant goodness, lead Your congregation. Unique and Exalted One, turn to Your people—those who remember Your holiness. Blessed is the Name of the glory of His kingdom forever and ever.
Master of the universe, You commanded us through Moshe Your servant to count the Omer, in order to purify us from our kelipos and from our impurities, as You wrote in Your Torah: “And you shall count for yourselves from the morrow of the Shabbos, from the day you bring the Omer of the waving—seven complete weeks shall there be. Until the morrow of the seventh week you shall count fifty days,” so that the souls of Your people Israel may be purified from their defilement. Therefore, may it be Your will, Hashem our God and God of our fathers, that in the merit of the Omer counting that I counted today, what I damaged in the sefirah of Hod Sheb’Malchus be repaired. Purify me and sanctify me with the holiness of Above, and through this may abundant shefa be drawn down in all the worlds—to rectify our souls, our spirits, and our neshamas from every dross and blemish, and to purify us and sanctify us with Your supernal holiness, amen selah.

Master of the universe, Almighty, in the sefirah of Hod Sheb’Malchus, reveal to me the light of the Ein Sof—the Fiftieth Gate. That is why we count fifty days from the Exodus from Egypt until the giving of the Torah; and that is why we blow the shofar in the Yovel, in the fiftieth year, on Yom Kippur—when all the servants return to their family, as it is written, “Each man shall return to his ancestral holding.” The holy Zohar says (Parshas Toldos, page 144): “Each man shall return to his ancestral holding”—meaning, each man returns to his neshamah. For then, in Hod Sheb’Malchus, every single person connects to the root of his neshamah and receives illumination from the root of his neshamah. Then he will be able to learn the entire Shas—Bavli and Yerushalmi—Sifrei and Sifra and Mechilta; all the books of the holy Zohar; and all the books of Etz Chaim and the Eight Gates, because then all the gates of the chambers of chochmah, binah, and tevunah are opened. May it be Your will that on this holy and awesome day, illumination from the Fiftieth Gate will shine upon us and upon all Your people, the House of Israel.
