Touching the Holy: The 17th of Tammuz 5779 with the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

From the words of our teacher, Rabbi Berland shlit"a, spoken as he left a home gathering in the Musrara neighborhood of Jerusalem. "Very soon, everything here will go up in flames [at Damascus Gate], and a Beis HaMikdash (Holy Temple) of fire will descend, and on the 15th of Av will be the final seal. Then everyone will need to donate a kilo of gold to the Beis HaMikdash; my weight is upon me for the Beis HaMikdash."

After the Maariv (evening prayer) at the conclusion of the 17th of Tammuz 5779, our teacher Rabbi Berland shlit"a said: "On the 17th of Tammuz, all the judgments were sweetened, because that was when the city [walls] were breached, which means that all the barriers of the mind fall, and then a Beis HaMikdash (Holy Temple) of fire was supposed to descend."

Hashem is the G-d!
