Uvechen Tzaddikim ◇ The Wedding of the Great-Grandson of Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

In the shadow of the war and the sirens from Iran: The Chuppah (wedding canopy) for the great-grandson of HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a in the city of Modi'in Illit.
On Monday, the 20th of Adar, a joyous celebration of the house of tzaddikim took place in the city of Modi'in Illit, with the marriage of the great-grandson of HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a. The groom, Aharon, son of Harav Nachman Treisman of the Zucker family, married the daughter of Harav Nachman Weitzhandler, son of the Mashpia (spiritual mentor) HaRav HaChassid R' Yitzchak Weitzhandler shlit"a.
Due to the security situation, the Chuppah was moved earlier to the afternoon hours and was even relocated to the courtyard of Harav Yaakov Fishel shlit"a, one of the prominent members of Anash (our community) who resides in the 'Green Park' neighborhood in the city of Modi'in Illit.
At 16:30, members of our community gathered to participate in the joy of the house of the tzaddik. A few minutes later, Morinu HaRav Eliezer Berland shlit"a appeared at the Chuppah ceremony. The Rav shlit"a was honored with Siddur Chuppah V'Kiddushin (officiating the marriage ceremony) and also with reading the Kesubah (marriage contract).
After the breaking of the glass, the grandfathers and uncles were honored with the Sheva Brachos (seven wedding blessings) under the Chuppah. Morinu V'Rabbeinu shlit"a was honored with the Bracha Achrita (the final blessing).
At the conclusion of the Chuppah, the band burst into the song "Kol Rina V'Yeshua B'Ohalei Tzaddikim" (The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous). Morinu V'Rabbeinu shlit"a began dancing together with the groom and the family members with immense joy and gladness, while the entire public, who arrived despite the security situation, participated in the joy and danced below the courtyard for many long minutes.
After about twenty minutes in which Morinu V'Rabbeinu shlit"a danced with the groom, the esteemed grandfathers, and the family members, the Rav shlit"a left the event to return for the Maariv (evening) prayer at our Beis Midrash in Jerusalem.
