Watch: “When we disgrace the Tzaddik, harsh judgments awaken in the world — the persecution of the holy Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a”
“These are not simple days for the people of Israel. People have lost their homes in fires, and this touches all of us together. I personally know precious people whose homes burned down. It’s true that we must care for one another; at the same time, we must also take mussar for ourselves and strengthen ourselves spiritually. Rebbe Nachman of Breslov says: all influences in the world pass through the Tzaddik. And just as the holy companions from the Idra said to Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai—that the Tzaddik is in the aspect of Shabbos. This refers to the Gadol HaDor, who, in relation to the other great ones of the generation, is considered in the aspect of Shabbos—like Rabbi Shimon in his generation. This was the level of Yosef HaTzaddik, who was the greatest in his generation, the Tzaddik who brought influence to the entire world. Yes, Hashem sends down the shefa to us, but He established that it must pass through the Tzaddik.” The words of Rabbi Ofek Zada shlit"a.
“When we disgrace the Tzaddikim, who are in the aspect of Shabbos—who are the source of blessing—then the flow of shefa is stopped and we have no blessing. Harsh judgments awaken, like these fires. I am saying these things in the name of the Tzaddikim of the generation, such as the G-dly mekubal Rabbi Dov Kook shlit"a of Tiberias. We are crying out these words in the name of the great ones of Israel—Rabbi Baruch shlit"a, Rabbi Lior Glazer shlit"a, the mekubal Rabbi David Chaim Stern shlit"a, Rabbi Ba’adani shlit"a, and many more Tzaddikim. From every corner and every community, everyone is pleading: stop disgracing the holy Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a—there is a terrible decree in Heaven.”
“One of the hidden Tzaddikim in Jerusalem said: the word ‘sereifah’ (fire) has the letters of ‘sar peh’ (the mouth turns aside)—a play on words—when a person removes all restraints from himself and allows himself to speak about whoever he wants and whatever he wants, even about the great ones of Israel. Are you normal? Anyone who speaks against the Tzaddik—The Rav, Rabbi Berland shlit"a—and also against Rabbi Pinto shlit"a, is out of his mind: two awe-inspiring Tzaddikim who are sitting in prison though they have done nothing wrong.”
They force them to sign plea bargains, as is known that in the State of Israel 97% of cases end with plea bargains, and a person knows that in order to be released he is forced to sign. Moreover, there is a halachic ruling that Rabbi Elyashiv zt"l ruled to the former Rav of Tel Aviv—to sign in order to be released. In any case, we are dealing here with secular courts, and G-d-fearing people do not look to what is decided in secular courts. Those people who went straight to a secular court are called a ‘moser,’ and their judgment is terrible: it is forbidden to count them in a minyan, they have no share in the World to Come, etc.—fearsome things.”
There is absolutely no permission to speak against a Jew, and especially not against a Tzaddik who is publicly known for his righteousness. As it is written in the Gemara: disgracing Shabbos—which is in the aspect of the Tzaddik—brings fires. The two books that were published recently about The Rav, the holy Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, are called Eish Moharan and Lahavos Eish. They speak about the Tzaddik, and fires are awakened; more than one hundred thousand people have lost their homes. It all began on the day they started to falsely incriminate the Rav shlit"a.
