Breslov Emes News: A Yeshivah Student Was Expelled Because His Father Refuses to Join the Despicable Persecution of Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

After we published the words of the respected maggid, Rabbi Yisrael Zinger shlit"a, in which he conveyed a painful message from the chassid Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Salmanovitch shlit"a—who in the past had been the Rav of a small group among those persecuting Rabbi Berland shlit"a—this naturally stirred strong reactions. And as we explained previously regarding the false and disgraceful methods used by Rabbi Berland shlit"a’s persecutors—how they violate Torah law without batting an eye—we are bringing you the following from the Breslov Emes information line. חובה לקרוא.
[audio mp3="https://www.shuvubanimint.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/בן-ניסן-על-סלמנוביץ.mp3" autoplay="true"][/audio]Breslov Emes: In recent days, a report reached the ears of Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Salmanovitch shlit"a, claiming that a yeshivah student in Beit Shemesh was expelled only because his father does not participate in the persecution of the holy Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a. Unbelievable, right? And it’s not that these are, Heaven forbid, people who belong to the “Shuvu Banim” community. Perhaps they mistakenly think well of Rabbi Berland shlit"a—but that alone was enough for them to throw him out into the street in shame.
In his compassion, Rabbi Salmanovitch shlit"a called that mashgiach and for a long time tried to speak to his heart—because surely it is unthinkable to involve young bochurim in this persecution. Anyone who knows Rabbi Salmanovitch knows that he does not attack the other side even when it is clear to him that they are certainly mistaken. Here too, Rabbi Salmanovitch spoke gently and with forgiveness to that mashgiach. But the mashgiach exploited this for the worse; instead of appreciating Rabbi Salmanovitch’s approach, he repaid good with evil.
Not only did that mashgiach record Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Salmanovitch without his knowledge or consent—despite knowing that Rabbi Salmanovitch does not conduct himself in a way of speaking publicly—but that mashgiach, apparently counted among that small group of persecutors, went and—while violating Torah law—edited his words, as is their disgraceful habit, and took them out of context.
As we wrote, this is not the first time they have done this. In the past we posted the words of the gaon Rabbi Yaakov Shechnazi shlit"a, who cited in this context the verse (Mishlei 3:29): “Do not plot evil against your fellow while he sits securely with you.” For when people speak with rabbanim and present them with a certain picture, they sometimes exaggerate or paint an inaccurate picture. That Rav, who believes he is having a private conversation, may say things that are not meant as a binding ruling. Then these people come along, edit their questions and their falsehoods, and present a completely false picture—one that is the very opposite of what the Rav intended. One can browse our site and read testimonies from a large number of rabbanim who were deceived in this way.
Those persecutors, who throughout the entire way transgress severe Torah prohibitions—tragically, such prohibitions have already become “light” in their eyes—did the same with Rabbi Salmanovitch shlit"a. Now, after they deceived him and exploited his good heart, Rabbi Salmanovitch goes beyond his usual bounds and, for the second time, turns to the broader public in order to explain how much he loves and esteems the holy Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a.
