Who Can See Him Go Out and Not Go Out? Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a Voted “Gimel”

Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a fulfilled today’s mitzvah a short while ago by going out—waging, in his words, a battle of life and death—by voting in the 5783 elections. Photo gallery:

Already at 7:25, he left his home, Neveh Kodesh, and arrived—singing “Or Zarua LaTzaddik”—at an accessible polling station in Ramat Eshkol, together with the Rebbetzin shetichyeh. When The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, instructs—he carries it out: he placed the “Gimel” ballot, the “United Torah Judaism” list, into the ballot box. After blessing the workers there, he left, saying that everyone must go and vote—this is not an election; it is a war! He returned to his home, Neveh Kodesh, already by eight o’clock in the morning.

From here goes forth the call to all the students and supporters of Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, and to Your people, the House of Israel: who can see him go out and not go out to vote “Gimel”!
