The Yeshivah’s Outreach for Ba’alei Teshuvah ○ A Special Shiur for the Avreichim and Bochurim of the Yeshivah Who Are Close to The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

In the yeshivah “Se’u Marom Eineichem” for ba’alei teshuvah, led by Rabbi Shlomo Ofer shlit"a, there are also those who are close—who merited to draw near to the great light of The Rav, Rabbi Berland shlit"a. The yeshivah, located in the Beit Yisrael neighborhood of Jerusalem, has the merit of bringing close dozens of young men and avreichim, returning them to the source of their souls as they come back in teshuvah. Most of those bochurim and avreichim are also counted among the students and supporters of The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, and they merit to come to tefillos and events throughout the year together with The Rav shlit"a.

Some of these close followers merited to enter a shiur this past Wednesday night, the eve of the 2nd of Cheshvan, inside the holy inner room, for more than forty minutes—like a blazing flame. During the shiur, The Rav shlit"a spoke, among other things, about matters of the hour and the obligation to go and vote for the “Yahadut HaTorah” list. He also spoke words of Torah and Aggadah about the secrets that were revealed to Rabbi Akiva, and also about shalom bayis—that one must say good words to one’s wife, and so on. After the shiur, The Rav shlit"a concluded with Kaddish with melodies, and the group of close followers who participated in the shiur went out to Ma’ariv with a great crowd, as every evening, in the plaza of the prayer hall together with Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a.
