A Story of Loving-Kindness: Historic Kimcha D'Pischa Distribution for the Students of Rabbi Berland

A moving story about a massive donation of approximately two million shekels for Kimcha D'Pischa (Passover charity) for thousands of families of the students of Rabbi Berland shlit"a, which was distributed in exemplary order and with immense joy.
Just two days before the holiday of Pesach, an unimaginably exhilarating and joyous scene took place. It was a tremendous publicization of the revelation of Hashem, May He be blessed, who put it into the heart of a generous, righteous, and kind-hearted Jew to act with true mesirus nefesh (self-sacrifice). This Jew succeeded in raising a massive sum of approximately two million shekels for "Kimcha D'Pischa".
This enormous donation was designated for the students of Morinu HaRav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, who study Torah amidst financial hardship, without any means or support from their families.
Distribution with a Good Eye and a Generous Heart
Nearly two thousand families, may they multiply, merited to receive the distribution with an open hand and truly with a good eye. "May the esteemed avreichim (Torah scholars) who engaged in this with mesirus nefesh stand upon the blessing and be blessed from the Most High," the participants noted. These avreichim acted not for the sake of receiving a reward or publicity, but solely for the sake of Heaven, for Hashem, May He be blessed, and the tzaddik.
The distribution event itself was a tremendous display of Kiddush Hashem (sanctification of God's Name). It was moving to see a holy congregation arriving at the large plaza in exemplary order. The massive area was provided for this holy purpose by one of the leading Admorim (Chassidic Rebbes) shlit"a, who in his goodness and compassion graciously allowed the event to take place on the premises.
Like the Event of the Exodus from Egypt
Long hours passed in the most exemplary order, to the sounds of song, singing, and praise. The atmosphere there was so elevated that it felt like the event of Yetzias Mitzrayim (the Exodus from Egypt). Joy and gratitude filled the hearts of all those present.
This event is certainly a tremendous publicization in the world, testifying that Hashem, May He be blessed, loves tzaddikim and has mercy on His nation, Israel. The Divine Providence revealed at this event proves once again that the Creator of the World will never leave nor forsake His children, forever and for all eternity.
