Yesterday, 2 Teves—Zos Chanukah—the tena’im celebration took place for the great-granddaughter of The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a: the daughter of his grandson, the mashgiach of the “Breslov Chochmah V’Daas” yeshivah, Rabbi Nachman Goldblum, son of the distinguished chassid Rabbi Yehudah Asher Goldblum shlit"a, son-in-law of the distinguished chassid Rabbi Shmuel Stern shlit"a. The chosson is the young scholar Eliyahu, son of the distinguished chassid Rabbi Yaakov Fishel shlit"a, one of our esteemed Anash from the city of Modi’in Illit.
The great-grandfather, The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, participated in the tena’im celebration and delivered a complete, overflowing shiur filled with words of Torah and aggadah on the themes of Chanukah and the exalted stature of a chosson and kallah. After twenty minutes of a fiery, blazing shiur, The Rav shlit"a wrote the tena’im document and handed over the gartel for the kinyan. After the breaking of the plate, everyone went out dancing to “Samei’ach Tesamach Re’im Ahuvim.”
