Now Shavuos is drawing near—within two days it will be Shavuos, the Giving of the Torah. At that time, Hashem first called to the women. It is written in Midrash Tehillim, the Midrash Shocher Tov, chapter 8, that He called the women first—one day earlier. He asked whether you want to receive the Torah. Because if the woman does not agree, then it is impossible to receive the Torah.
