Last Night’s Lesson of Rabbi Berland shlit"a After Ma’ariv

Before you is the lesson that our teacher Rav Berland shlit"a delivered last night, the eve of Rosh Chodesh - 1st of Sivan, after the counting of the Omer:
So now, the holiday of Shavuot is approaching; in two days is the holiday of Shavuot - the Giving of the Torah. Hashem called to the women beforehand, as it is written in Midrash Tehillim, Midrash Shocher Tov, Chapter 8; He called to the women first - one day prior. He asked if they wanted to receive the Torah. For if the woman does not agree, then it is impossible to receive the Torah. The first thing Hashem did was call to the women, because the women educate the children. They ensure that he will be a good child.
So the first thing Hashem did was call to the women, for that is the foundation of the home. The woman is the one who determines what the child's fate will be; ninety percent he receives from the mother, ninety percent he receives from the mother, ten percent from the father. Therefore, he is nine months in the body of the mother. And she must also nurse, [giving] her brain and her milk. Because the child develops only from mother's milk! Not from formula, not from anything else! That is just to bloat his stomach; the brain grows only from mother's milk!
The lesson begins at minute 38:58
Therefore, Hashem asked the women first; the women had to give their consent to receive the Torah, and only then is it possible to receive the Torah.
