Prayer Before the First Meal of Shabbos Corresponding to Yitzchak
Master of the Universe, Almighty, grant us the merit, already at the first meal of Shabbos, to draw down upon Jerusalem the skin of the Leviathan, that it should shine and gleam from one end of the world to the other, and shine brighter than the light of the sun, and shine day and night. May the verse be fulfilled already at the first meal, "Draw near the day which is neither day nor night," and may the light of Hashem shine for 24 hours without a second's interruption, and gleam throughout the entire world, and in the entire empty void. And just as Eliyahu HaNavi, remembered for good, and Mordechai HaYehudi [gematria = 440] merited that their light shone from one end of the world to the other, and in the merit of this, "many of the people of the land became Jews," so too, immediately after the Shabbos candles are lit, may the light of Shabbos begin to shine from one end of the world to the other, and until the final sea, until the final day of the Resurrection of the Dead. And through this, may we merit to be included in the greatest [gematria 45] of the great [gematria 395] = 440: Rebbe [268] Nachman [148] son of [52] Simcha [353] son of [52] Feige [94] = 967. And through this, may the angels Nuriel [297], Michael [107], Gavriel [246], and Raphael [317] = 967 enter us as an Ibbur (infusing us with their spiritual energy), and especially the angel Raphael. And may we be able, through the first meal of Shabbos, to heal all the sick in the world, and to resurrect all the dead in the world, as it is said, "How fair and how pleasant you are, O love, for delights." And the baby who was lying without a breath of life, immediately when the words "Chai Zekof Mach" (O Living One, raise up the lowly) were said, got up, jumped, danced, and sang until the morning light without a single second of rest.
