Prayer Before the Third Meal of Shabbat Corresponding to Yaakov
Ra'ava D'Ra'avin (The Will of Wills)
During the Third Meal, the time of Ra'ava D'Ra'avin (the Will of Wills), we merit the three times the Divine Name Ma"H (45), in the secret of Osnat, the mother of Menashe and Ephraim (73 x 7). Seven times Chochmah (Wisdom - 73) equals Tanin (Sea Monster - 510) + 1 = seven times Chochmah (511). Then we merit the revelation of the waters of the deep: Mei (Waters - 50) Tehom (Deep - 451) + 1 [equals 502], which is the secret of Baruch (Blessed - 228) Mordechai (274) [228 + 274 = 502], and this subdues Arur (Cursed - 407) Haman (95) [407 + 95 = 502]. Then a path is revealed for the redeemed to cross over, just as Yonah merited that the two eyes of the fish turned into two spotlights of light that illuminated all the darkness. For anyone who eats the three meals on Shabbat, especially the Third Meal, will merit to enter Gan Eden (the Garden of Eden) with his physical body, just like Yonah. Yonah merited, in the merit of being inside the fish for three days and three nights, to enter Gan Eden with his physical body. Then, through the Third Meal, the verses are fulfilled: "And I am Hashem your God, Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar; Hashem of Hosts is His Name. And I have placed My words in your mouth, and covered you with the shadow of My hand, to plant the heavens and establish the earth, and to say to Zion, 'You are My people.'" For then the shadows of evening stretch out, darkness covers the earth, and that is the exact moment for the light to break forth anew—the Ohr HaGanuz (Hidden Light), a wondrous light, a blazing light. They burn brightly, just like Devorah the Prophetess, the "wife of Lapidot" (torches), from whom sparks of fire constantly burst forth. This is the secret of the Talmudic teaching, "If your wife is short, bend down and whisper to her." For then we sweeten all the 280 (Pa"R) strict judgments that are drawn from the five final letters MaNTZePa"Ch. And then we cry out, "Hashem Melech, Hashem Malach, Hashem Yimloch L'Olam Va'ed" (Hashem reigns, Hashem has reigned, Hashem will reign forever and ever), which has the Gematria of "PaR" (280). Therefore, through the Third Meal, we sweeten every judgment in the world, and we merit the Resurrection of the Dead. And we merit the three times the Name Ma"H (45) [3 x 45 = 135], in the secret of the Divine Names A"B (72) and Sa"G (63) [72 + 63 = 135] + 1 = 136, which is the Gematria of "Sulam" (Ladder). This is the secret of Jacob's Ladder, through which we ascend the path leading up to Beit El, and through the city of Luz we enter Beit El, and we merit the Resurrection of the Dead.
