The Order of Lighting the Chanukah Candles
May the pleasantness of the Lord our God be upon us; establish the work of our hands for us; establish the work of our hands.
Blessed are You, Hashem our God, King of the universe, who has sanctified us with His commandments, and commanded us to light the Chanukah candle.
Blessed are You, Hashem our God, King of the universe, who performed miracles for our forefathers in those days, at this time.
These candles we light for the miracles, the wonders, the salvations, and the battles, that You performed for our forefathers in those days at this time, through Your holy Kohanim. And throughout all eight days of Chanukah, these candles are holy, and we are not permitted to make ordinary use of them, but only to look at them, in order to express thanks and praise to Your great Name for Your miracles, Your wonders, and Your salvations.
O Mighty Stronghold of my salvation, to You it is fitting to give praise. Restore the House of my prayer, and there we will offer thanksgiving sacrifices. When You will prepare the slaughter of the blaspheming foe, then I will complete with a song of praise the dedication of the Altar.
My soul was sated with evils, my strength was exhausted with grief. They embittered my life with hardship, in the enslavement of the calf-like kingdom (Egypt). But with His great hand, He brought forth His treasured nation. Pharaoh's army and all his offspring went down like a stone into the deep.
To His holy sanctuary He brought me, but even there I had no rest. The oppressor came and exiled me, because I served foreign gods. I poured the poisoned wine, and I nearly passed away. But the end of Babylon came, through Zerubbabel; at the end of seventy years I was saved.
To cut down the stature of the cypress (Mordechai) sought the Agagite, the son of Hammedatha (Haman). But it became a snare and a stumbling block for him, and his arrogance was silenced. The head of the Benjaminite You lifted up, and the name of the enemy You erased. His numerous sons and his possessions You hanged upon the tree.
The Greeks gathered against me, back in the days of the Hasmoneans. They breached the walls of my towers, and defiled all the oils. But from the remaining flasks, a miracle was wrought for the roses (Israel). Men of understanding established these eight days for song and jubilation.
Bare Your holy arm, and hasten the end for salvation. Avenge the vengeance of Your servants' blood from the wicked nation. For the hour has grown too long for us, and there is no end to the days of evil. Thrust the Red One (Edom/Rome) into the shadow of death, and establish for us the seven shepherds.
A Psalm, a Song for the Dedication of the Temple by David: I will exalt You, Hashem, for You have drawn me up, and You have not let my enemies rejoice over me. Hashem my God, I cried out to You, and You healed me. Hashem, You brought my soul up from the lower world; You preserved me from descending to the pit. Sing to Hashem, His pious ones, and give thanks to His holy Name. For His anger lasts only a moment, but His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may linger for the night, but joy comes in the morning. And I said in my tranquility, "I will never falter." Hashem, with Your favor You made my mountain stand strong; but when You hid Your face, I was terrified. To You, Hashem, I would call, and to the Lord I would plead: "What gain is there in my blood, in my descent to the pit? Will the dust thank You? Will it declare Your truth?" Hear, Hashem, and be gracious to me; Hashem, be a helper to me. You turned my mourning into dancing for me; You undid my sackcloth and girded me with joy. So that my soul might sing to You and not be silent; Hashem my God, I will thank You forever.
For the conductor with instrumental music, a Psalm, a song: May God be gracious to us and bless us. May He make His face shine upon us, Selah. That Your way may be known on earth, Your salvation among all nations. The nations will thank You, O God; all the nations will thank You. The nations will rejoice and sing for joy, for You will judge the peoples fairly, and guide the nations on earth, Selah. The nations will thank You, O God; all the nations will thank You. The earth has yielded its produce; may God, our God, bless us. May God bless us, and may all the ends of the earth fear Him.
We beg You, with the strength of Your right hand's greatness, untie the bound. Accept the song of Your people; elevate us, purify us, O Awesome One. Please, O Mighty One, guard those who seek Your Oneness like the pupil of the eye. Bless them, purify them, always bestow upon them Your righteous mercy. Powerful, Holy One, in Your abundant goodness guide Your congregation. Unique, Exalted One, turn to Your people who remember Your holiness. Accept our plea and hear our cry, You who know hidden things. Blessed be the Name of the glory of His kingdom forever and ever.
Sing joyfully, O tzaddikim, in Hashem; for the upright, praise is fitting. Give thanks to Hashem with the harp; sing to Him with the ten-stringed lyre. Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully with shouts of joy. For the word of Hashem is upright, and all His deeds are done in faithfulness. He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is filled with the loving-kindness of Hashem. By the word of Hashem the heavens were made, and by the breath of His mouth all their host. He gathers the waters of the sea like a mound; He places the deeps in vaults. Let all the earth fear Hashem; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spoke, and it came to be; He commanded, and it stood firm. Hashem annuls the counsel of nations; He foils the plans of peoples. The counsel of Hashem stands forever, the thoughts of His heart from generation to generation. Fortunate is the nation whose God is Hashem, the people He chose as His heritage. From heaven Hashem looks down; He sees all mankind. From His dwelling place He gazes upon all the inhabitants of the earth. He who fashions their hearts together, who understands all their deeds. A king is not saved by a large army; a mighty man is not rescued by great strength. A horse is a false hope for salvation, and by its great strength it provides no escape. Behold, the eye of Hashem is on those who fear Him, upon those who hope for His loving-kindness. To rescue their soul from death, and to sustain them in famine. Our soul waited for Hashem; He is our help and our shield. For in Him our heart will rejoice, for in His holy Name we trusted. May Your loving-kindness, Hashem, be upon us, just as we hoped in You.
Melodies of the Days of Awe (High Holidays) - For Zos Chanukah
Light is sown for the tzaddik, and joy for the upright of heart.
By the authority of the Heavenly Court and by the authority of the Earthly Court, we hereby grant permission to pray with the transgressors:
All vows, prohibitions, oaths, consecrations, konam-vows, penalties, and synonymous terms, that we may vow, swear, consecrate, or prohibit upon ourselves: from this Yom Kippur until the next Yom Kippur, may it come upon us for good. Regarding them all, I regret them. Let them all be released, forgiven, eradicated, nullified, and made void. They are not valid and they are not binding. Our vows are not vows, our prohibitions are not prohibitions, and our oaths are not oaths.
(Recited 3 times): And it shall be forgiven to the entire congregation of the children of Israel, and to the stranger who dwells among them, for the entire people acted in ignorance.
Please forgive the iniquity of this nation according to the greatness of Your loving-kindness, and just as You have forgiven this nation from Egypt until now. And there it is said:
(And the congregation says three times loudly:)
And Hashem said, "I have forgiven according to your word."
May our supplication ascend from the evening, and may our cry come from the morning, and may our joyful song be seen until the evening.
May our voice ascend from the evening, and may our righteousness come from the morning, and may our redemption be seen until the evening.
May our affliction ascend from the evening, and may our pardon come from the morning, and may our groaning be seen until the evening.
May our refuge ascend from the evening, and may it come for His sake from the morning, and may our atonement be seen until the evening.
May our salvation ascend from the evening, and may our purification come from the morning, and may our plea for grace be seen until the evening.
May our remembrance ascend from the evening, and may our gathering come from the morning, and may our glory be seen until the evening.
May our knocking ascend from the evening, and may our joy come from the morning, and may our request be seen until the evening.
May our cry ascend from the evening, and may it come to You from the morning, and may it be seen by us until the evening.
Please forgive the guilt and transgressions of Your nation. For the iniquity of Your children, let Your wrath not burn.
Please forgive their loathsomeness, and let them live from Your source. For the iniquity of Your banners, bear it and be comforted as You promised.
Please forgive, for all confess and abandon sin according to Your decree. For iniquity and transgression, pardon, for the sake of Your Name.
Please forgive intentional and unintentional sins for those created for Your Name. For the iniquity of their sins, cleanse them with Your generous rain.
Please forgive the foolishness and frivolity of the wicked of Your nation. For the iniquity of Your beloved ones, let it be sought but not found, as You promised.
Please forgive the deceit of those who kneel and bow before You. For the iniquity of those You have taken, atone, in Your good taste.
Please forgive the rebellion of those who hope in You and declare Your Oneness in Your world. For the iniquity of the banished, erase it, and rebuild Your sanctuary.
Please forgive their perversion and protect them in Your sukkah of peace. For the iniquity of Your servants, conceal and suppress it in Your hiddenness.
Please forgive, lest they be punished from Your heights. For the iniquity of Your flock, forget it, and this will be Your praise and exaltation.
Please forgive their disgrace and have compassion on them from Your heights. For the iniquity of Your beloved ones, bear it, from being trapped in Your net.
Please forgive the trace of mockery and abomination of Your beloved ones. For the iniquity of Your perfect ones, pass over it according to the greatness of Your mercy.
Indeed it is so, the evil inclination dwells within us: It is Yours to justify, Abundant in Righteousness, and answer us: "I have forgiven."
Reject the talebearer, and also the one who pollutes his story: The Beloved roars with a loud voice, He will give voice to His word: "I have forgiven."
Silence the prosecutor, and take the defender in his place: May Hashem be a support for him, for the sake of His promise: "I have forgiven."
The merit of the native (Abraham), may it blossom for the rose (Israel): Pass over the sin and amplify the voice from the heavenly dwelling: "I have forgiven."
Good and Forgiving One, pardon and forgive the guilty: O God, pay heed, and also reply from the heights: "I have forgiven."
Bandage the pain, and suppress my iniquity in the depths: To You is praise, speak the word for my sake: "I have forgiven."
Erase the transgression, and also the wickedness of the children of the covenant: Conduct Your loving-kindness, such is Your glory, for the remnant: "I have forgiven."
Shelter my whispering, and also my silent prayer may You accept: Bearer of iniquity, act for Your sake, and redeem: "I have forgiven."
Turn to the insult, the place of iniquity, to restore it: Remove the stench, and also bring good tidings to those who take refuge in You: "I have forgiven."
Hear my voice, and see the tear of my eye: Champion my cause, pay heed to my expression, and answer me: "I have forgiven."
Purify the trace of sin, hurry like a thick cloud, as it is said: You will erase transgression for a saved nation, and You will say: "I have forgiven."
For behold, like clay in the hand of the potter. At his will he expands it, and at his will he contracts it. So are we in Your hand, Preserver of loving-kindness.
Look to the covenant and do not turn to the evil inclination.
For behold, like stone in the hand of the mason. At his will he grasps it, and at his will he smashes it. So are we in Your hand, He who gives life and brings death.
Look to the covenant and do not turn to the evil inclination.
For behold, like an axe in the hand of the blacksmith. At his will he forges it in the fire, and at his will he removes it. So are we in Your hand, Supporter of the poor and destitute.
Look to the covenant and do not turn to the evil inclination.
For behold, like a rudder in the hand of the sailor. At his will he holds it, and at his will he lets it go. So are we in Your hand, God who is good and forgiving.
Look to the covenant and do not turn to the evil inclination.
For behold, like glass in the hand of the glazier. At his will he shapes it, and at his will he melts it. So are we in Your hand, He who passes over intentional and unintentional sins.
Look to the covenant and do not turn to the evil inclination.
For behold, like a tapestry in the hand of the embroiderer. At his will he makes it straight, and at his will he makes it crooked. So are we in Your hand, God who is jealous and avenging.
Look to the covenant and do not turn to the evil inclination.
For behold, like silver in the hand of the silversmith. At his will he adulterates it, and at his will he refines it. So are we in Your hand, He who provides a cure for the wound.
Look to the covenant and do not turn to the evil inclination.
Master of the Universe, who reigned before any creature was created: When all was made by His will, then 'King' His Name was called.
Into His hand I entrust my spirit, when I sleep and when I wake: And with my spirit, my body; Hashem is with me, I shall not fear.
The King:
Sitting upon a high and lofty throne:
He dwells for eternity, exalted and holy is His Name. And it is written: "Sing joyfully, O tzaddikim, in Hashem; for the upright, praise is fitting."
By the mouth of the upright You shall be exalted; and by the lips of the tzaddikim You shall be blessed; and by the tongue of the pious You shall be sanctified; and among the holy ones You shall be praised.
Blessings and thanksgivings to Your great and holy Name, and from eternity to eternity You are God. Blessed are You, Hashem, God, King, great and extolled in praises, God of thanksgivings, Master of wonders, Creator of all souls, Master of all deeds, who chooses songs of praise, King, Unique God, Life of the worlds.
A Song of Ascents, from the depths I called out to You, Hashem. My Lord, hear my voice; let Your ears be attentive to the sound of my pleas. If You were to preserve iniquities, O God, my Lord, who could stand? For with You is forgiveness, so that You may be feared. I hoped for Hashem, my soul hoped, and for His word I waited. My soul yearns for the Lord, more than watchmen for the morning, watchmen for the morning. Let Israel hope for Hashem, for with Hashem is loving-kindness, and with Him is abundant redemption. And He will redeem Israel from all its iniquities.
Blessed are You, Hashem our God and God of our forefathers, God of Abraham, God of Isaac, and God of Jacob, the great, mighty, and awesome God, the supreme God, who bestows good loving-kindness and creates everything, who remembers the loving-kindness of the Patriarchs and brings a redeemer to their children's children, for the sake of His Name, with love.
From the counsel of the wise and understanding, and from the knowledge taught by the discerning, I will open my mouth in prayer and supplications, to entreat and plead before the King who pardons and forgives iniquities.
I have borne Your dread as I arrange my plea, blessing You in the mission of Your people. Draw me from the womb, illuminate my darkness, guide me to speak clearly and in Your truth. Teach me to pour out a sweet supplication, and shelter me in Your shadow to draw me near. Let a cry be drawn from deep within, as I seek Your face, bring Your righteousness near. Pure of eyes, highly exalted, grant me understanding of the value of prayer. According to the law, to plead without folly, to provide for those who sent me healing and elevation. Clarify and straighten the opening of my lips, accept and validate the freewill offerings of my mouth. May the order of my meditation be presented as a gift, my abundant plea like a pouring rain. Establish my steps, save me from stumbling, O Rock, support my feet from slipping. Raise me up and strengthen me from weakness and frailty, accept my words and let me not falter. Guard me like the pupil of the eye from terror and panic, look upon my lowliness and come to my salvation. Have grace upon my crushed state as You promised Your seer, have mercy upon the son You have strengthened.
Remember us for life, King who desires life, and write us in the Book of Life, for Your sake, O Living God.
King, Helper, Savior, and Shield. Blessed are You, Hashem, Shield of Abraham.
Chazan: For Your precious son, remember, You shall remember. For the sake of Your servant's plea, remember.
Hashem shall reign forever, your God, O Zion, from generation to generation, Hallelujah.
And You are holy, enthroned upon the praises of Israel, O God, please:
In heaven and on earth: Mighty and revered:
Outstanding among ten thousand: He spoke and it came to be:
He commanded and they were created: His remembrance is for eternity:
Life of the worlds: Pure of eyes:
Dwelling in secret: His crown is salvation:
His garment is righteousness: His cloak is zeal:
Girded with vengeance: His shelter is uprightness:
His counsel is faithfulness: His work is truth:
Righteous and upright: Close to those who call upon Him in truth:
Exalted and uplifted: Dwelling in the heavens:
Suspending the earth upon nothingness:
Living and enduring, awesome, exalted, and holy:
Please forgive now. Bear transgression and iniquity now. And let Your strength be magnified now. Holy One:
Today it will be written in the Book of Remembrances. Life and death. Please, establish it. Awaken now. Bestir Yourself now. Stand now. Present Yourself now. Arise now. Plead now. For the soul, have grace now. Before the Dweller on High:
Say to God: Slow to anger and great in power. Preparing mountains with power. Wise of heart and mighty in power. Giving power to the weary. Therefore, the Great One, our Lord, who is abundant in power, shall be exalted.
Say to God: He builds His upper chambers in the heavens. Watering mountains from His upper chambers. He made a memorial for His wonders. And by Him actions are weighed. Therefore, He who roofs His upper chambers with water shall be exalted. Say to God:

Fortunate is the nation that knows the shofar blast; Hashem, in the light of Your face they will walk.
In Your Name they will rejoice all day, and through Your righteousness they will be exalted.
For You are the glory of their strength, and through Your favor our horn will be raised.
Fortunate are those who dwell in Your house; they will continually praise You, Selah.
Here I am, impoverished in deeds, trembling and terrified from the dread of the One who is enthroned upon the praises of Israel. I have come to stand and plead before You on behalf of Your people Israel who have sent me. And even though I am not worthy or fit for this, therefore I beg of You, God of Abraham, God of Isaac, and God of Jacob. Hashem, Hashem, God, merciful and gracious, God of Israel, Almighty, awesome and revered. Please make my path successful as I go and stand to seek mercy for myself and for those who sent me. And please do not condemn them for my sins, and do not hold them guilty for my iniquities, for I am a sinner and a transgressor. And let them not be disgraced through my transgressions, and let them not be ashamed of me, and let me not be ashamed of them. And accept my prayer like the prayer of an elder, experienced, whose appearance is fitting, whose beard is fully grown, whose voice is pleasant, and who is well-received by people. And rebuke the Satan so that he does not accuse me. And may our progression to You be in love. And cover our transgressions with love. And turn all troubles and evils for us and for all Israel into joy and gladness, for life and for peace, and may they love truth and peace. And let there be no stumbling block in my prayer. And may it be Your will, Hashem, God of Abraham, God of Isaac, and God of Jacob, the great, mighty, and awesome God, the supreme God, "I will be what I will be," that all the angels who act upon prayers will bring my prayer before Your Throne of Glory and spread it before You, for the sake of all the tzaddikim, the pious, the perfect, and the upright. And for the sake of the glory of Your great and awesome Name. For You hear the prayer of Your people Israel with mercy. Blessed are You, who hears prayer.
Chazan: May His great Name be magnified and sanctified. In the world that He created according to His will, and may He establish His kingdom, and cause His salvation to sprout, and bring His Mashiach near. In your lifetimes and in your days, and in the lifetimes of the entire House of Israel, swiftly and soon, and say, Amen.
Chazan: Blessed and praised, glorified and exalted, uplifted and honored, elevated and lauded be the Name of the Holy One, blessed be He. Above and beyond all blessings and songs, praises and consolations, that are uttered in the world, and say, Amen.
He sustains the living with loving-kindness, resurrects the dead with abundant mercy, supports the fallen, heals the sick, frees the captives, and maintains His faith to those asleep in the dust. Who is like You, Master of mighty deeds, and who can be compared to You, King who brings death and restores life, and causes salvation to sprout.
Who is like You, Merciful Father, who remembers His creatures for life in mercy.
And You are faithful to resurrect the dead. Blessed are You, Hashem, who resurrects the dead.
Chazan: The feeling of their whispering from this contempt. They sing joyfully: Please forgive the iniquity of this nation.
Hashem shall reign forever, your God, O Zion, from generation to generation, Hallelujah.
And You are holy, enthroned upon the praises of Israel, O God, please:
Let us voice the power of the day's holiness. For it is awesome and frightening. And on it Your kingship will be exalted. And Your throne will be established with loving-kindness. And You will sit upon it in truth. It is true that You are the Judge, the Arbiter, the Knower, and the Witness. And You write, and seal, and count, and calculate. And You remember all forgotten things. And You will open the Book of Remembrances. And it will read from itself. And the signature of every person is in it. And a great shofar will be sounded. And a still, small voice will be heard. And angels will hasten. And trembling and terror will seize them. And they will say, "Behold, the Day of Judgment." To judge the heavenly host in judgment. For they will not be found innocent in Your eyes in judgment. And all who come into the world will pass before You like a flock of sheep.
Like a shepherd examining his flock. Making his sheep pass under his staff. So will You cause to pass, and count, and calculate, and review the soul of every living being. And You will determine the allotment for all Your creatures. And You will write the decree of their judgment.
On Rosh Hashanah they are written. And on the fast day of Yom Kippur they are sealed. How many will pass away. And how many will be created. Who will live. And who will die. Who at his predestined time. And who before his time. Who by water. And who by fire. Who by sword. And who by beast. Who by famine. And who by thirst. Who by earthquake. And who by plague. Who by strangulation. And who by stoning. Who will rest. And who will wander. Who will be tranquil. And who will be tormented. Who will be at peace. And who will suffer. Who will become poor. And who will become rich. Who will be degraded. And who will be exalted.
Loudly: But teshuvah (repentance), prayer, and charity avert the evil decree.
Man's origin is from dust. And his end is to dust. At the risk of his life he earns his bread. He is likened to a broken potsherd. Like withering grass. And like a fading flower. Like a passing shadow. And like a dissipating cloud. And like a blowing wind. And like flying dust. And like a fleeting dream.
Loudly: But You are the King, the living and enduring God.
There is no limit to Your years. And there is no end to the length of Your days. And it is impossible to estimate the chariots of Your glory. And it is impossible to explain the hiddenness of Your Name. Your Name is fitting for You. And You are fitting for Your Name. And You have called our name by Your Name. Act for the sake of Your Name. And sanctify Your Name upon those who sanctify Your Name. For the sake of the glory of Your revered and sanctified Name. Like the secret converse of the holy Seraphim. Who sanctify Your Name in holiness. Those who dwell on high with those who dwell below. Calling and repeating the threefold sanctification in holiness:
A crown they will give You, Hashem our God, the angels, the multitudes on high, together with Your people Israel, gathered below.
Together they will all repeat the threefold sanctification to You: As the word spoken by Your prophet: And one called to another and said:
Chazan: To be known and to be revealed. That He is King over all the earth. Just as they glorified Him from ancient times in the heavens. His chosen ones are permitted to glorify Him on earth:
Chazan: Mighty is our Mighty One, Hashem our Lord, how mighty is Your Name in all the earth. And Hashem will be King over all the earth; on that day Hashem will be One and His Name One.
Have compassion on Your works. And rejoice in Your works. And those who take refuge in You will say to You. When You justify those You carry. The Master will be sanctified over all Your works. For You have sanctified those who sanctify You with Your holiness. It is fitting for the Holy One to receive glory from the holy ones.
He will yet remember for us the love of the strong one (Abraham), our Lord. And through the son who was bound (Isaac), He will silence our adversaries. And in the merit of the perfect one (Jacob), the Awesome One will bring forth our judgment to righteousness. For the day is holy to our Lord.
When there is no advocate of righteousness against the teller of transgression. Tell Jacob the word of statute and justice. And vindicate us in judgment, O King of Justice.
The One who grasps the attribute of justice:
And all believe that He is the God of faith: The One who examines and checks hidden treasures:
And all believe that He examines the kidneys (innermost thoughts): The One who redeems from death and rescues from the pit:
And all believe that He is a strong Redeemer: The One who judges all inhabitants of the world alone:
And all believe that He is a true Judge: The One who is pronounced as "I will be what I will be":
And all believe that He was, is, and will be: The Certain One, His Name is so, and so is His praise:
And all believe that there is none besides Him: The One who remembers good remembrances for those who remind Him:
And all believe that He remembers the covenant: The One who decrees life for every living being:
And all believe that He lives and endures: The Good One, who does good to the bad and to the good:
And all believe that He is good to all: The One who knows the inclination of all creatures:
And all believe that He forms them in the womb: The Omnipotent One, who encompasses them all together:
And all believe that He is Omnipotent: The One who dwells in the secret place in the shadow of the Almighty:
And all believe that He is alone: The One who crowns kings, and to whom kingship belongs:
And all believe that He is the King of the universe: The One who guides every generation with His loving-kindness:
And all believe that He preserves loving-kindness: The One who bears, and turns a blind eye from the rebellious:
And all believe that He forgives forever: The Supreme One, whose eye is upon those who fear Him:
And all believe that He answers silent prayer: The One who opens the gate for those who knock in teshuvah (repentance):
And all believe that His hand is open: The One who waits for the wicked and desires his justification:
And all believe that He is righteous and upright: The One who is brief in wrath and extends patience:
And all believe that He is slow to anger: The Merciful One, who precedes anger with mercy:
And all believe that He is easy to appease: The Equal One, who equates the small and the great:
And all believe that His work is perfect:
And so, place Your awe, Hashem our God, upon all Your works, and Your dread upon all that You have created, and let all works fear You, and let all creatures bow down before You. And let them all become one society, to do Your will with a whole heart. Just as we know, Hashem our God, that dominion is before You, strength is in Your hand, and might is in Your right hand. And Your Name is awesome over all that You have created.
And so, grant honor, Hashem, to Your people, praise to those who fear You, and good hope to those who seek You, and confident speech to those who yearn for You, joy to Your land, and gladness to Your city, and the flourishing of the horn of David Your servant, and the preparation of a lamp for the son of Jesse, Your Mashiach, speedily in our days.
And so, the tzaddikim will see and rejoice, and the upright will exult, and the pious will sing with joy, and iniquity will close its mouth, and all wickedness will completely vanish like smoke, when You remove the dominion of arrogance from the earth.
And all shall come to serve You. And they will bless Your glorious Name. And they will declare Your righteousness in the islands. And nations that did not know You will seek You. And all the ends of the earth will praise You. And they will continually say, "May Hashem be magnified." (And they will sacrifice their sacrifices to You.) And they will abandon their idols. And they will be ashamed of their graven images. And they will offer one shoulder to serve You. And they will fear You along with the sun, those who seek Your face. And they will recognize the power of Your kingship. And those who stray will be taught understanding. And they will speak of Your might. And they will exalt You, who is exalted as Head over all. And they will tremble in fear before Your face. And they will crown You with a crown of glory. And the mountains will break forth in song. And the islands will rejoice in Your reign. And they will accept the yoke of Your kingship upon themselves. And they will exalt You in the congregation of the people. And those far away will hear and come. And they will give You the crown of kingship.
You are holy and Your Name is awesome, and there is no God besides You, as it is written: "And Hashem of Hosts is exalted in judgment, and the Holy God is sanctified in righteousness." Blessed are You, Hashem, the Holy King.
It is our duty to praise the Master of all, to ascribe greatness to the Creator of the beginning, that He has not made us like the nations of the lands, and has not placed us like the families of the earth, that He has not made our portion like theirs, and our destiny like all their multitudes. And we bend our knees, bow down, and offer thanks before the King.
Be with the mouths of the messengers of Your people, the House of Israel, who stand to seek prayer and supplications from before You on behalf of Your people, the House of Israel: Teach them what they should say. Give them understanding of what they will speak. Answer them what they will ask. Let them know how they should glorify. In the light of Your face they will walk. To You they will bend the knee. Your people they will bless with their mouths. And from the blessings of Your mouth they will all be blessed. Your people they will lead before You, and they will pass in the midst. The eyes of Your people hang upon them. And their eyes hope to You: Approaching the Holy Ark in awe. To soothe anger and wrath. And Your people surround them like a wall. And You, from the heavens, will look upon them to have mercy: Eyes are lifted to You to the heavens. Hearts are poured out before You like water. And You will hear from the heavens.
I will hope to God. I will entreat His face. I will ask of Him the eloquence of the tongue: That in the congregation of the people I may sing of His strength. I will express joyful songs regarding His deeds: To man belong the arrangements of the heart. But from Hashem comes the eloquence of the tongue: My Lord, open my lips. And my mouth will declare Your praise: He removes golden garments and puts on white garments, for the service of the day is in white garments:
And he hurried and sanctified his hands and feet, and he came first to his bull. And his bull was standing in the north, facing between the Ulam (Entrance Hall) and the Altar, its head to the south and its face to the west. And the Kohen stood in the east, his face to the west: He stood in awe before the Supreme God, and he recited words of Vidui (confession) over it, and he leaned his two hands upon it and confessed:
And thus he would say: Please, O Hashem. I have sinned. I have committed iniquity. I have transgressed before You, I and my household: Please, by the Name. Atonement now for the sins, and for the iniquities, and for the transgressions. That I have sinned, and that I have committed iniquity, and that I have transgressed before You, I and my household. As it is written in the Torah of Moses Your servant, from Your glorious mouth. For on this day He will provide atonement for you to purify you from all your sins before Hashem:
And the Kohanim and the people standing in the courtyard, when they would hear the glorious and awesome Name pronounced explicitly, coming out of the mouth of the Kohen Gadol in holiness and purity, they would kneel, bow down, and fall upon their faces, and say: Blessed be the Name of the glory of His kingdom forever and ever:
He went out and took the blood of the bull from the one who was stirring it. And he entered the place he entered, and stood in the place he stood. And he dipped his finger for every sprinkling. And he sprinkled from it before the Ark Cover, between the poles of the Ark, one upward and seven downward. And he did not intend to sprinkle specifically upward or downward, but like one wielding a whip:
And thus he would count: One. One and one. One and two. One and three. One and four. One and five. One and six. One and seven:
Like a tent stretched out in the heavenly heights. Was the appearance of the Kohen:
Like lightning flashing from the radiance of the Chayos (holy angels). Was the appearance of the Kohen:
Like the greatness of the fringes on the four corners. Was the appearance of the Kohen:
Like the image of the rainbow within the cloud. Was the appearance of the Kohen:
Like the majesty with which the Rock clothed His creatures. Was the appearance of the Kohen:
Like a rose placed within a garden of delight. Was the appearance of the Kohen:
Like a crown placed upon the forehead of a king. Was the appearance of the Kohen:
Like the loving-kindness bestowed upon the face of a groom. Was the appearance of the Kohen:
Like the purity placed in a pure turban. Was the appearance of the Kohen:
Like one sitting in secret to entreat the face of the King. Was the appearance of the Kohen:
Like the morning star shining in the eastern border. Was the appearance of the Kohen:
Like the wearing of a robe and like a breastplate of righteousness. Was the appearance of the Kohen:
Like an angel standing at the head of the path. Was the appearance of the Kohen:
Like a candle peering from between the windows. Was the appearance of the Kohen:
Like the commanders of armies at the head of a holy nation. Was the appearance of the Kohen:
Like the strength with which the Pure One clothed the one being purified. Was the appearance of the Kohen:
Like golden bells on the hem of the robe. Was the appearance of the Kohen:
Like the form of the Temple and the curtain of the Testimony. Was the appearance of the Kohen:
Like a congregation covered in blue and purple wool. Was the appearance of the Kohen:
Like one seeing the sunrise upon the earth. Was the appearance of the Kohen:
Like a rose of the garden among the thorns. Was the appearance of the Kohen:
Like the pattern of Orion and the Pleiades from the south. Was the appearance of the Kohen:
Hear our voice, Hashem our God, pity and have mercy upon us, and accept our prayer with mercy and favor: Bring us back to You, Hashem, and we shall return; renew our days as of old: Give ear to our words, Hashem, consider our meditation: May the words of our mouths and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable before You, Hashem, our Rock and our Redeemer: Do not cast us away from before You, and do not take Your holy spirit from us: Do not cast us away in the time of old age; when our strength fails, do not forsake us:
Our God and God of our forefathers, forgive us. Pardon us. Grant us atonement. For we are Your people and You are our God. We are Your children and You are our Father. We are Your servants and You are our Master. We are Your congregation and You are our portion. We are Your heritage and You are our destiny. We are Your flock and You are our Shepherd. We are Your vineyard and You are our Keeper. We are Your work and You are our Creator. We are Your beloved and You are our Beloved. We are Your treasure and You are our God. We are Your people and You are our King. We are Your declared ones and You are our Declarer:
Today, strengthen us: Amen:
Today, bless us: Amen:
Today, magnify us: Amen:
Today, seek us for good: Amen:
Today, hear our cry: Amen:
Today, accept our prayer with mercy and favor: Amen:
Today, support us with Your righteous right hand: Amen:
Piyutim
At the time the gates of favor open. The day I spread my hands to God. Please remember for me on the day of reproof. The binder, the bound, and the altar:
At the end he was tested, at the end of the ten (trials). The son who was born to you from Sarah. If your soul is bound to him so deeply. Arise and offer him to Me as a pure burnt offering. On the mountain where glory shines for you: The binder:
He said to Sarah, "Your beloved Isaac. Has grown and has not learned the service of heaven. I will go and teach him what God has decreed for him." She said, "Go, my lord, but do not go far." He answered, "Let your heart trust in God": The binder:
He sought early and rose to go in the morning. With his two young men from the people of falsehood. On the third day they reached the boundary. And he saw a vision of glory, majesty, and honor. He stood and contemplated being anointed: The binder:
His young men knew when he called them, saying. "Do you see the light blossoming at the top of Mount Moriah?" And they said, "We see nothing but a pit." He answered, "Sit here, nation compared to a donkey. And I and the lad will go prostrate ourselves": The binder:
They both went to do the work. And Isaac answered his father thus. "Father, see the fire and the wood arranged. Where, my lord, is the lamb according to the law? Have you forgotten your religion on this day?": The binder:
And his father answered, taking refuge in the Living God. "For He is the One who will see for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering. Know that whatever God desires, He will do. Let us build, my son, a throne before Him today. Then the sacrifice and the sacrificer will be exalted": The binder:
They knocked on the gates of mercy to open. The son to be sacrificed and the father to sacrifice. Hoping in God and trusting in His mercy. And those who hope in Hashem will renew their strength. They sought to be attached to God's heritage: The binder:
He prepared the wood for the burnt offering with vigor and strength. And he bound Isaac as one binds a ram. And the light of day became like night in their eyes. And the multitude of his tears flowed powerfully. The eye weeping bitterly, but the heart rejoicing: The binder:
"Speak to my mother that her joy has turned away. The son she bore at ninety years. Has become a portion for the fire and the knife. Where will I seek a comforter for her, where? I am distressed for a mother who will weep and sob": The binder:
"From the knife my speech moans. Please sharpen it, my father, and my bonds. Be strong, and when the fire burns in my flesh. Take with you what remains of my ashes. And say to Sarah, this is the fragrance of Isaac": The binder:
And all the angels of the Chariot moaned. The Ofan and the Seraph asking voluntarily. Pleading to God on behalf of the captain of the host. "Please provide a redemption and a ransom, give it. Let the world not be without a moon": The binder:
God of heaven said to Abraham. "Do not stretch forth your hand to the third light (Isaac). Return in peace, angels of the camps. This day is a merit for the children of Jerusalem. On it, I open the gates of mercy": The binder, the bound, and the altar:
If the quarter of the nest (the Temple) is gone. The dwelling tent, if it is emptied. Please let us not perish, for because of this. We have an old father (Abraham):
You will recognize his face. And we will mention his righteousness before You. Please take the precious son. And his blood is squeezed on the wall:
He ran to the lad to sanctify him. And his soul was bound to his soul. He crowned him with the wood and his fire. The crown of his God upon his head:
The only one was swift as a deer. He answered and said, "My father. Here is the fire and the wood we bring. But there is no gift to bring":
He answered him with words to prevent him from panicking. And he answered and said to him. "My son, God will see for Himself. And Hashem knows what is His":
In Your commandment they are both careful. And after You they do not second-guess. They hurried and went swiftly. Upon one of the mountains:
They saw a towering cloud. They hurried the wood for the burnt offering. Together in perfect love. They made a straight path in the desert:
The only one saw that he was the lamb. He declared to his tested parent. "Father, treat me like the sheep. Do not spare and do not cover":
"He desires and yearns for me. To expose my heart to Him. If you withhold me, the end is. My spirit and my soul He will gather to Him":
His hands and feet he bound. And his sword he appointed over him. To place him on the wood he was diligent. And the fire on the altar will be kindled:
He stretched out his neck on his own. And his father approached him. To slaughter him for the sake of his Master. And behold, Hashem stood over him:
Investigate all that he did. The father did not spare his son. And he lifted his heart to the palms of his hands. And God saw all that he did:
He called from the womb of the dawn. "Exchange your chosen son. And behold, another ram. And do it, do not delay":
"The substitute of his memorial. Will be established like his burning. And its smoke will rise to You. And it will be him and his substitute":
To You, my God, is my desire. In You is my passion and my love: To You is my heart and my kidneys. To You is my spirit and my soul: To You are my hands, to You are my feet. And from You is my form: To You is my bone, to You is my blood. And my skin with my body: To You are my eyes and my thoughts. And my form and my pattern: To You is my spirit, to You is my strength. And my trust and my hope: To You is my heart and the blood of my fat. Like a lamb I will offer as my burnt offering: To You is the only one without a second. To You my unique soul will give thanks: To You is kingship, to You is majesty. To You praises are fitting: To You is help in a time of trouble. Be my help in my distress: To You I will hope when I am in pain. Like a woman giving birth in my sighing: To You is my hope, heal my brokenness. And my pain and my wound: To You I will moan and I will not be silent. Until You illuminate my darkness: To You is eternity, in You I will trust. And You are my strength: To You I will cry out, to You I will cling. Until my return to my earth: To You I belong while I am still alive. And even more so after my death: To You I will give thanks and I will confess. Over my sin and my wickedness: To You is my salvation, forgive my wickedness. And my transgression and my guilt: To You I will bend and spread my palms. Please hear my supplication: To You I will weep with a crushed heart. In the abundance of my speech and my sorrow: To You is loving-kindness, to You is compassion. Have compassion on all my hardships:
Agadelcha (I will magnify You)
Words: Rabbi Abraham Ibn Ezra
I will magnify You, God of every soul, and I will thank You with great fear and awe:
When I stand amidst Your congregation, O Rock, to exalt, to You I will kneel and bow my head and stature:
The expanses of the heights, did He not stretch them out with a word, and the earth He founded upon nothingness:
Can a man investigate the secret of his Creator, and who is this in every east and west:
He is exalted above every mouth and tongue, who did wonders and made everything with wisdom:
And may He be magnified in a holy and supreme nation. And may His great Name be sanctified in the world:
A'ufah Eshkonah (I will fly and dwell)
Composed by Rabbi Yitzchak Abuchatzeira, may God avenge his blood
I will fly and dwell. And I will wander far off. I will lodge in the wilderness. And perhaps I will find my Beloved:
The weapon of His love. Burns in my heart. From the day of His departure. My soul is bitter upon me: I will fly:
My Beloved has fled from me. He went and abandoned me. Which path did He take. And I too will go: I will fly:
I went out to seek. My Beloved among friends. I was caught in a snare. The watchmen struck me: I will fly:
I hoped for my Beloved. When will He come to me. He will dress me in my ornaments. And He will have mercy on me: I will fly:
Bare Your arm. To gather the scattered ones. Reveal the end of Your salvation. And raise Your banner: I will fly:
Arise, my unique soul. And return in teshuvah (repentance). My sister, my beloved. Behold, your Redeemer comes: I will fly:
Precious, beloved one. Of many virtues. Chosen even over fine gold. Go out now in dances: I will fly:
I remembered for you the loving-kindness. The love of your youth. I will establish your sanctuary. With sapphire stones: I will fly:
The voice of my Beloved, behold He comes. Leaping over the mountains. Arise, beloved one. For the end of freedom has come: I will fly:
Songs
Lomir Dertzeiln (Let us tell)
Melody based on the Piyut "Om Ani Chomah" (Hoshana Rabba)
Let us tell, let us tell, the virtues of the Jewish children:
One virtue is "The nation that says I am a wall."
Another virtue is "Clear as the sun."
Even though, even though, even though, "Exiled and turned away."
Yet, yet, yet, "She is compared to a palm tree."

Yet, yet, yet, "Redeemed by God."
Let us tell, let us tell, the virtues of the Jewish children:
What are they called? "Holy sheep."
And when they gather together, "The congregations of Jacob."
How are they marked? "Inscribed with Your Name."
What do they cry out? "Roaring: Save us please!"
Let us tell, let us tell, the virtues of the Jewish children:
Upon whom, upon whom do they rely? "Supported by You."
And specifically because of this we beg You, Father, "Save us please!"
Let us tell, let us tell, the virtues of the Jewish children:
And all shall come to serve You
And all shall come to serve You. And they will bless Your glorious Name. And they will declare Your righteousness in the islands:
And nations that did not know You will seek You. And all the ends of the earth will praise You. And they will continually say, "May Hashem be magnified":
And they will sacrifice their sacrifices to You. And they will abandon their idols. And they will be ashamed of their graven images:
And they will offer one shoulder to serve You. And they will fear You along with the sun, those who seek Your face. And they will recognize the power of Your kingship:
And those who stray will be taught understanding. And they will speak of Your might. And they will exalt You, who is exalted as Head over all:
And they will tremble in fear before Your face. And they will crown You with a crown of glory. And the mountains will break forth in song:
And the islands will rejoice in Your reign. And they will accept the yoke of Your kingship upon themselves. And they will exalt You in the congregation of the people:
And they will exalt You in the congregation of the people. And those far away will hear and come. And they will give You the crown of kingship:
The Song of Yearning for Uman
You brought us up to here, bring us to Uman:
Without passports and travel documents, only singing and dancing:
Without charters and airplanes, only through the Holy Names:
Without debts and loans, only prayers and requests:
Without visas and permits, only songs and joyous melodies:
Without shopping and purchases, because every second is precious:
With infants and children, believe that there will be miracles:
Without eating and drinking, only prayer and immersion (in the mikvah):
Without sleep and slumber, only at his holy tziyun (gravesite):
Without cameras and photographs, only desires and yearnings:
Without lotteries and restrictions, just everyone gathered together:
We will establish yeshivas and hotels, around Rebbe Nachman:
On Rosh Hashanah we are all present, in a sanctuary of thousands upon thousands:
All the buildings belonging to the Kloyz (main Breslov synagogue in Uman), are freed up in honor of Rosh Hashanah:
This year we pray in the Kloyz, and in this merit we will be saved with an eternal salvation:
From Jerusalem to Uman we land directly, and immediately prostrate ourselves at the tziyun:
Through song and dance, we create new heavens and a new earth:
Through prostrating on the graves of tzaddikim, we will hasten the building of the Eternal House (the Holy Temple):
Through his holy tziyun, the holy of holies, governments of tzaddikim will arise:
Through the Light of Lights and the first three Sefiros (Divine emanations), our eyes will behold wonders:
Rebbe Nachman, the holy of holies, in every time and moment reveals new Torah insights:
Rebbe Nachman, for all eternity, will bring us Mashiach ben David:
In the merit of Rebbe Nachman, the inclusivity of all the tzaddikim, we will merit the Giving of the Torah with thunder and lightning:
He is a brilliant light in the heavens, he will save all the highest heavens:
Through the love of all the friends, we will merit the blessing of the radiance of the worlds:
Through the love of all the tzaddikim, we will merit the flow of all compassion:
Through the intellect that encompasses all intellects, we will merit the salvation of all the worlds:
Through the intellect that encompasses the Foundation Stone, we will merit the complete Geulah (Redemption):
On Rosh Hashanah, the Foundation Stone, the entire creation is included:
Through Rosh Hashanah, the Light of Lights, we will merit the purest, most radiant light:
Without missiles and gas masks, only Psalms and Talmudic tractates:
Without wars and sirens, only to break our hearts (in repentance):
Without bomb shelters and sealed rooms, only to break open sealed hearts:
Without atomic bombs and nuclear war, only to believe in the true tzaddik:
Through guarding our eyes on the roads, we will merit the surrounding Divine lights:
Without obstacles and confusions, only on the wings of eagles:
You brought us up to here, bring us to Uman:
Song of Friendship
Blessed is Hashem, God of Israel, who did not leave us without a redeemer, and separated us from those who stray in the paths of God, and drew us near to the inclusivity of the seven shepherds of Israel:
He is Rebbe Nachman, the source of wisdom. [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman, the source of wisdom. And you shall say, "So let him live," our master, the source of wisdom. He is the head of the children of Israel, he is a living man. A flowing brook, the source of wisdom:]
Let me sing now to our beloved, what he did for our souls, to rectify our covenant, to make our end good: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
Our master, our teacher, the light of our eyes, illuminated the Torah for us, and brought us out of darkness to light: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
His true counsels are secure, to bring souls out of the lowest depths of the abyss, to turn their descent into ascents, and iniquities into merits: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
His compassion for us grew great, to extract us from our iniquities, even if we are as we are, he informed us that Hashem is with us: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
The words of emunah (faith) that he instilled in us, they will revive us, they will strengthen our souls, to bear what passes over us: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
Hisbodedus (secluded personal prayer) and prayers that he taught us, to speak between ourselves and our Creator, they will complete our rectification, and defeat our enemies: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
Vidui (confession prayer) of words for each one before him, they will atone for his iniquities, they will illuminate for him the Infinite Light, to know that all his occurrences are for the good: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
He left his merit behind him, for all who walk in his paths, for each and every one according to his deeds, as he draws his rectifications upon himself: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
A novelty like him has never existed from the beginning of the world to eternity, his name is hidden from many worlds, and he will rectify the world, for this is the entirety of man: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
We have tasted that his merchandise is good, his candle will not be extinguished at night, forever we will walk by his light, through Rabbi Noson his disciple: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
There is no despair in the world at all! Those who draw near to him will rise from the pit, if they cast away their imagined wisdoms, and do as he commands them with simplicity: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
Our souls yearned for our root, but our opponent (the evil inclination) grew very strong, we almost perished in our vanities, were it not for the help of Rebbe Nachman: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
Likutey Moharan that Rebbe Nachman bequeathed to us, opens the veins of our heart's stubbornness, so we will not be caught in the net of our enemy, and we will not sleep through our days and our years: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
Famous leaders wanted to rule over us, to remove us from our holy knowledge, Rebbe Nachman informed us of this, that from him there will be no new things until Mashiach our righteousness: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
For eternity he will merit to spread his light, and until Mashiach our righteousness his candle will shine, and the Mashiach will fight with his knowledge, growing brighter until the established day: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
He told tales of ancient years, to revive those fallen from the seventy faces (of Torah), to return the King's daughter from being pushed away, who fell among evil armies: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
The ten types of melody, recited with supplication, will enact The Tikkun HaKlali (The General Rectification), and will elevate delights that have not ascended since the days of the world: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
These wonders are but the edges of his path, who can understand his greatness, who can grasp his value, in every moment and second that we think of him, fortunate are we that we have merited thus far: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
His holy tziyun (gravesite) is the holy of holies, at every time and moment revealing new insights, he promised that those who approach his tziyun in prayer, he will pull them out of the abyss even if they committed severe iniquities: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
His holiness that he attained from his immense separation (from worldly desires), through his immense strengthening and his abundant prayer, it is impossible to reach his essence, and to him silence is praise: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
At the beginning of every single year, he commanded us to gather at his holy tziyun in Uman, to pray with him together in joyous song, and to cry out over the fall of the Kingdom with intention: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
His disciples guard this, year after year to appear before him, breaking immense obstacles for this, for it is their special rectification before the Knower of hidden things: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
The Torah of Hashem that he attained from his immense greatness, from his immense humility and from the greatness of his holiness, he informed the dwellers on high where the place of His glory is, and to the dwellers below that the whole earth is full of His glory: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
Rebbe Nachman advised us on all this, to rejoice in all our days, and especially on our holy Shabbos, and to dance over the joy of our Judaism: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
To give charity for the building of our emunah (faith), to create a pleasant and pure atmosphere in all our borders, to speak words of emunah with everyone we know, and to believe in the Divine Providence of our Creator: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
He renewed our willpower at all times, without getting confused by what passes over us, to listen to the voice of Hashem today, and to do Hisbodedus before Him day by day: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
To draw the holiness of the Land of Israel upon us, by guiding us on our land, and through this we will merit length of days, and to conquer all our battles: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
Be strong and let us strengthen ourselves in our good points, and let us judge ourselves and our friends favorably, we will distance the wisdoms and languages of the nations from our minds, and we will live eternal life in the holiness of Rebbe Nachman: [Chorus: He is Rebbe Nachman...]
I have come to beseech You with a torn and boiling heart, begging for mercy like a poor man at the door:
Bring us back to You, Hashem, and we shall return; renew our days as of old
Soul, Where Are You?
Soul, I have waited so long for you
Soul, come to me, oh soul
Soul, where are you?
Lost, who knows where
Soul, come to me, oh soul
The clouds cry with me
Their darkness reflects my heart
The place of the Holy Temple is so empty
Such a holy place is desolate
Creator, act for Your sake
Make the old days like new
Renew our days, our days as of old
Turn to the insult, the place of iniquity, to restore it: Remove the stench, and also bring good tidings to those who take refuge in You: "I have forgiven."
Hear my voice, and see the tear of my eye: Champion my cause, pay heed to my expression, and answer me: "I have forgiven."
Attribute of Mercy, roll upon us. And before your Maker, let our supplication fall. And on behalf of Your people, ask for mercy. For every heart is faint and every head is sick. Hashem.
Eyes are lifted to You to the heavens. Hearts are poured out before You like water. And You will hear from the heavens.
Master of the Worlds, I know that I am in Your hands alone like clay in the hand of the potter. And even if I make every effort with advice and strategies, and all the inhabitants of the world stand at my right hand to save me and support my soul, without Your strength and Your help, there is no help and salvation.
