In this week’s installment of the English translation of parts of Rav Eliezer Berland’s recent Shiurim, the Rav tells us that only through Davening with Nigunim the Tefilah goes up and is accepted, especially that we need so many miracles with us and our children that they should be born healthy.

It also tells about the times Rav Berland used to go with self-sacrifice with his students into the Russia of those days, and were held up many times and were nearly killed, and because of all their Mesirut Nefesh (self-sacrifice) we merited that nowadays the town Uman has opened up to anyone who just decides to come.
