The Redemption Depends on Faith in the Moses of That Generation

WHEN MOSHE RABBEINU ARRIVED, NO ONE WANTED TO BELIEVE IN MOSHE RABBEINU, NO ONE WANTED TO BELIEVE IN THE TZADDIK

It is written, "And Moshe answered and said, 'But behold, they will not believe me, nor will they listen to my voice, for they will say, Hashem has not appeared to you'" (Shemot 4:1). So, no one wanted to believe in Moshe. Why?

The Ramban says: Because they said to him, "You can perform wonders? You can perform signs? You will be able to take us out of Egypt? How? How is this possible? To what level have you reached!?" They began to ask him, to investigate him, "To what level have you reached?" They asked him, "Are you greater than the Patriarchs?"

Therefore, Pharaoh did not listen to him.

AND YET, IF THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL HAD BELIEVED IN MOSHE IMMEDIATELY, IMMEDIATELY, THEY WOULD HAVE LEFT EGYPT AND WOULD NOT HAVE MADE THE GOLDEN CALF, AND THE BEIT HAMIKDASH WOULD HAVE BEEN BUILT, AND THE COMPLETE GEULAH (REDEMPTION) WOULD HAVE COME, AND THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN THE RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD.

For everything that Hashem wants in every generation—every generation, if they believe in the true tzaddik, then they can merit the resurrection of the dead. In every generation, Mashiach ben David needs to come; every generation is worthy of the Geulah (Redemption), but everything depends on faith in Moshe, in the Moshe of that generation, in the tzaddik of that generation, who can bring the Geulah (Redemption) to everyone, to reveal the treasures to everyone, to reveal to everyone that he is actually sitting on a treasure, and the true tzaddik can bring each and every person to his true tikkun (rectification).
