Maamar for Likutey Moharan 63:
Rabbeinu expounds in Lesson 63 that the main thing is guarding the covenant (Shemirat HaBrit), “With two, it covered its legs” – this is guarding the covenant. “And with two it covered its face, and with two it flew” – opposite the six days of Creation, which are created only through guarding the covenant, creating new heavens and earth in the eyes of all Am Yisrael.
For the covenant, which is guarding the covenant, maintains the heavens and the earth, and this is the secret of “Bereishit – In the beginning” – [the same letters as] “Brit Eish – A covenant of fire,” for the six days are derived from the six handbreadths. “With two it covered its legs, and with two it covered its face, and with two it flew,” which is the aspect of covenant, the aspect of “the Tzaddik is the foundation of the world,” which is derived from the six aspects, six handbreadths, that only through guarding the covenant is the existence of the heavens and the earth.
And the main thing is “with two it covered its legs, and with two it covered its face,” and only through guarding the covenant will the complete redemption come speedily in our days, Amen, Netzach, Sela, Va’ed.
