New Prayer from Rabbi Eliezer Berland Shlit”a for Shovavi”m

During these weeks — the parashas of Shemot, Va’era, Bo, Beshelach, Yitro, and Mishpatim — falls the days of Shovavi”m.

As is known the days of Shovavim are very favorable for the rectification of holiness. Our Rebbe Rav Eliezer Berland shlit”a for decades has said that the main rectification for blemishing the covenant is through learning Gemara in depth. A number of days ago, the Rav shlit”a wrote a new prayer for the days of Shovavim which emphasizes the subject of Gemara learning and its connection to the days of Shovavim:

Ribono shel Olam — Master of the World, Who can do everything, and that nothing can impede [Your] purpose from You, let me merit in the merit of Shovavim to learn 8 hours of Gemara every single day, until the end of my life, and that I shall know all Shas by memory, word-for-word, letter-by-letter, in breadth and depth, forwards and backwards.
