Please join the prayers for Rabbi Eliezer Berland
It’s with great trepidation of spirit that we write these words. The Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland, shlita, is currently in hospital, while thousands of people around the world are mobilizing to pray for his total recovery.
At this time, Monday night of the week of Shabbat BaMidbar, 5779, a prayer gathering is being organized at the Kotel, where the whole book of tehillim will be read.
Throughout the day, many places across Israel have held their own prayer gatherings for the recovery of the Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland, shlita, after an announcement was made that the Rav needs many people’s prayers.
Rabbi Berland was taking to hospital after days where he didn’t feel good.
Things became so serious that the Rav didn’t dance at the hiloula of Rabbi Shimon in Meron on L’Ag B’Omer, and even didn’t give over his holy words of Torah, things that the Rav has been extremely careful to do for many years.
We should underline that Rabbi Berland has been suffering with a number of serious health problems for a long time, and that he’s totally sacrificing himself to his last breath for the sake of Am Yisrael, when he journeys out every day to meet the wider community.
Despite his precarious health, the Rav has also been coming out every day and night to pray with the community, and has also attended events and celebrations across the length and breadth of Israel. He’s also sacrificed himself to undertake house visits and give shiurim and private homes, including this recent visit to Ashdod (See the picture.)
The Rav was taken to hospital after his legs were seized by awful pains.
The doctors who are treating the Rav explained that a normal person would be unable to stand these types of pains for more than 3 minutes, without morphine – but the Rav is refusing to have any morphine.
To reiterate, yesterday morning, Monday, May 26th, 2019, Rav Berland asked everyone to pray for him at chatzot (halachic midnight), and to complete the whole book of tehillim at the Kotel, so that the Rav should continue to live, and should continue to be healthy.
Rav Moshe Tzanani, shlita, one of Rav Berland’s leading students, told us that the Rav is suffering tremendously, and that he has mamash taken upon himself the third world war, and that every day that the Rav continues to live is a miracle.
Rav Tzanani added that Rabbi Berland is only continuing to stay alive because of our prayers for him, and that this is a terrible war for the redemption.
So, we all have to take our souls in our hands, and to pray for the Rav!
We have to join together with our Jews across all of Eretz Yisrael and all of the world, and pray and cry out to Hashem that He will heal the Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland, shlita.
Rabbi Berland is working to prevent another holocaust from occurring to Am Yisrael, chas v’shalom, and is making every effort to bring the redemption closer.
- Please pray for Rabbi Eliezer ben Etia, that he should have a complete and total refua shleima.

Translation
1. A Psalm of Asaph. God stands in the congregation of God; he judges among the judges.
2. How long will you judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
3. Do justice to the poor and the orphan; vindicate the afflicted and needy.
4. Save the poor and needy; rescue them from the hand of the wicked.
5. They do not know, nor will they understand; they walk in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.
6. I have said, You are angels; and all of you are sons of the most High.
7. Nevertheless, you shall die like men, and fall like any prince.
8. Arise, O God, judge the earth; for to you shall all nations belong.
