The well-known outreach rabbi and tzaddik, Rav Ofer Erez shlit”a, member of the Shuvu Banim Community Rabbinic Council, in a holy call to support our Rebbe Rav Eliezer Berland shlit”a and his community:
“To all our dear people in every place, students of Rabbeinu [Nachman] and students of the Rav, we are addressing in the name of the Rabbinic Council who help in all the affairs of the Rav and the community, with a request from the depths of the heart.
“Because, baruch Hashem, we’ve merited to very great miracles, that the Rav returned to us, and as we see, he returned to us with greater power, greater strength, greater authority. Baruch Hashem, the Rav prays with the community, gives over Torah lessons in his home, and also Torah lessons to the community in general, meets with the public, and gives advice and blessings.
“All of these undertakings surrounding the Rav and the community demand a great deal of money. Because, as is known, the Rav at the moment cannot be involved in this subject, therefore, the Rabbinic Council and those involved have taken onto themselves the entire financial burden of the affairs of the community. Therefore, we are requesting from the depths of the heart that each person arouse himself and take up helping this great undertaking, to continue all the activities of the Rav, so that the light of Rabbeinu and the Rav will only spread and be disseminated throughout the world.
“We see, baruch Hashem, the action, the light of Teshuva [returning to Judaism], the awesome arousal, the love and the fear, the power of the prayers and Torah which are illuminated by all the matters of the Rav and the community. Therefore, anyone who can undertake this great thing, to help all the matters of the community… there is no doubt that all the blessings and all the salvations which the Rav always promises, there’s no doubt that the blessings will be effective when one helps the Rabbinic Council and those involved, because we are doing everything so that the light of Rabbeinu and of the Rav will continue to spread throughout the entire world and return all the Jewish people in complete teshuva.
“Therefore, undertaking this mission is one of the greatest things that’s possible to do at this time – the blessing, salvation, and consolation with mercy and kindness should come upon us and all the Jewish people and all those who help with this matter.
“Thank you very much in the name of the Rabbinic Council, and there is no doubt that the Rav takes part with us in all of this.
